Gods of Chaos: a Riot God Quest

[] Send a lesser Abraxas to teach the magic of Refutation to an orphan raised in the White University of Wisdom (Lesser Act)

Reposting it just in case some people want to create the first great scholar, master of logic and arguments! :D

Authored Act:
[X] Grant the Ogre, The Axe of Hunger, A Savage Weapon that finds its way into the hands of beings with an unrivaled hunger. A weapon capable of Absorbing the Power (Vigor, Magic, Divinty, ETC) from its victims to empower and grant them to its wielder. Though it shares its spoils with its wielder the Axe itself Hungers as well, growing Sharper, durable and More Powerful the more blood is spilled and power is absorbed, taking a bit for itself. (Lesser Act)

Thought I'd give the Ogre something else, a Bonus for finding the Book I made.

Unauthored Acts:
[X] Establish the System of Faith, Myths, and Gods (Cosmic)
[X] Create the Heart of the Sea (Lesser Act)
[X] Strip Nehu of The Might of the OutSlayer (Lesser Act)
[X] Empower the Ogre to know where Askr and Embla are, and to never be barred by any wall nor gap. As she walks towards them, walls and mountains alike will crumble to give her a tunnel, and vigorized Floatwood shall appear under her feet as she goes across rivers, oceans, and empty air. Beings as strong or stronger than her shall be unable to harm her - only through the cunning or teamwork of weaker beings shall she be stopped. (Lesser Act)

I rather think it'd be more satisfying to have one emerge spontaneously. We've set up all that is needed for great sags to emerge, we shouldn't need to make the sages themselves.

That's understandable, I think that directly raising heroes and exceptional individuals can be interresting (especially as stuff like Refutation seems mostly unknown in the region and fits the theme as a magic of reality and logic) but that's a good point.

So I guess nobody wants honey or lobsters to exist in this world then. I can only figure that is what is desired with the lack of interest in creating arthropods.

It's not that I don't want arthropods, it's just that I want other grand acts more. But if they start passing with more than enough votes I might change one of my grand acts over to it.

Appreciate the support! But you can only vote for it once.

I deeply dislike everything they are giving to the orc

so
@Photomajig an act to kill him at that, what level would it have to be?

If I remember their is a system to counter vote acts. Don't know the deets in that

The counter-vote system works by having the act with the most votes pass while the other is canceled out. So two demi-acts, one to kill the orc and the other to not kill the orc would have the winner decided by whichever has the most support.

but would it be considered countering?

to this
[] whisper to asker and embla everything that the evil makers have given to the orc... with the remaining power empower them as much as possible

You know i was joking but striking them dead with lightning is also a valid option and all it would take is a demi act.

I'll note that most of the grand acts currently up have more votes than they need, Shifting Land has 16, gnolls has 15 and Hikanophs have 12. Diabolism and Persistent Vigor are sitting down at 2, and the Grand version of Voidseer's was at about the same before it was changed, I think.

no just keep the original vote, please. I will add reptile the next turn so it would have been perfect.
Keeping the original vote means nothing if it doesn't pass, and for it to pass it would need 8 other votes. Noone took notice or voted for it so far, so I can only assume there is no interest in it.

It was at one vote my own.

We do have a three days, and you only left it open for a few hours before changing it. You could leave it open on the Grand version for a day or two to see if it gets any traction and then change it later if it doesn't.

I'm kinda against it Because there's only one book, and it doesn't Specify what they summoners actually get out of the Deal, So it doesn't seem like it would be that worth it. If there's more benefits (or specified benefits) for the Summoner, and Some lesser books then I would support it.
Made one book to serve as a foundation or intro to diabolism than create it fully formed, with more books being created by its practitioners over time or have it spread through word of mouth. Plus I didn't feel like overloading the act and left it mostly ambiguous so it has more narrative potential.
