Authored Act:
[X] Create the Two Headed Sphinx (Lesser Act)

Unthra the Sphinx was one of the most aggressive members of her kind, but also one of it's brightest. She would regularly devour those who could not solve her riddles or did not meet her standard of intelligence, including those of her own race. Many Sphinxes had lost their lives engaging in courtship with her. A chance meeting of her and a lone Umbral hunter on the continent of Stroheim would change the course of Umbral society, at least in Stroheim.

Tsu-Kai was an Umbral of unusually keen mind. Born in the depths of the caverns in Stroheim to a small enclave that lived there, his talents were wasted. One day, after getting tired of eating fungus and lean cavern fish, he decided to go hunting in the dark desert of Stroheim. And it is there that he met Unthra who had descended upon him and asked him a series of riddles, and to her surprise he easily solved them. None except the other Sphinxes had ever solved her riddles. The Umbral intrigued her. Tsu-Kai was never intellectually stimulated before and was deeply entertained by the riddles. They agreed to meet each other in the cover of night when they could.

They fell in love despite being different species after many years. The small enclave of Umbrals came to accept and even celebrate the odd pairing. They would educate the younger children and helped preserve a rich oral tradition.

However, it was not to last. Tsu-Kai died after a fierce cold. To the dismay of the Umbral enclave and Unthra.
Unthra flew to the highest peak of Stroheim and pleaded to the makers to bring her companion back, to let them live in harmony forever, and the Makers answered. Another Sphinx head sprouted from the other side of her neck, and that head was Tsu-Kai, she could also feel the old aches that haunted her fade away as the Makers granted her immortality (age-wise).

Together they still live in Stroheim, educating the Umbral there with their unparalleled minds.

@Babooie18, I'm not authoring Sigaldry this turn. I think I'll push forward my dungeon act first.

Authored:
[X] Create the Master Dungeon Sigil and the Inspired Ones (Lesser Act)
The Master Dungeon Sigil is a large sigil made from glowing crystal. It is the sigil upon which all the other dungeon sigils are based from. Those that gaze upon it may grasp a fraction of its profundity and gain Inspiration. Inspiration is integral to the construction of dungeons; no matter how close a sigil is to the Master Sigil, it will never make a true dungeon. Only those that have attained full understanding of the Master Dungeon Sigil can create a facsimile sigil that could Inspire others.

All monument makers in the universe is called and invited to see the dungeon sigil. They shall now also be tasked in constructing dungeons. Two of those that had come shall be chosen as guardians of the Master Sigil and be given name of La and Ro. La and Ro shall be tasked with protecting and constructing a home for the Master Sigil. To assist them in such as a task, they shall be given stronger and stouter bodies sporting majestic horns and wicked sharp claws so that they may be better able to defend and construct a home for the sigil.

A dungeon sigil enhances the structure upon which it is inscribed in, allowing it to take more daring layouts usually unwise on normal structures. A dungeon feeds on its legend, growing and expanding as its legend grows, but it may grow in other ways, such as others artificially carving new chambers. It is the monument makers's task to build the structure the dungeon sigil inhabits as well as the decorations, puzzles, and traps that lay within.

Those that dare plumb the depths of dungeons will sooner or later encounter a treasure chest (whose aesthetics is designed by the monument makers that built the dungeon and/or the dungeon itself). Within such as containers, one will find something thematic to them. It may not necessarily be something one needs or desires, but it will always be something they will find useful. The quality of loot may vary from mundane to magical depending on how well the custodians understand the Master Sigil. After the chest has been emptied and depleted, it may take some time for the chest to become once again primed and replete with treasure.

However, the dungeons do not supply these chests for free. They like to hide them where delvers may not easily reach or see. They will test those that brave the dungeons with traps and puzzles. The dungeons may return their traps and puzzles to their primed and unsolved state after some time. They may even change the placement and solutions as they desire. In time, even the layout of the entire dungeon may change.

[X] Create the Machine Race: The Me'vel who reside upon the Second Planet (Grand Act)
Any race of sufficent advancement can tell you that Machines come in all shapes and sizes. However, the Me'vel are unique in their creation and function. Anything but mindless, the Me'vel are a race of artists and Craftsmen. These creatures are strange as they follow a culture of art and prize the perfect balance between Aesthetics and Function. Born from either a natural fracture in time or through two Me'vel carefully crafting their offspring, these machines have no need for organic food nor air. Instead, they substist off of the Law of Artistry, using certain symbols and shapes to create the energy they feed upon. Due to the nature of these metallic-people and their strange mental perspective, they find the same ease in manipulating time as one would find in breathing. Freely able to move acrossTwist and manipulate time, the Me'Vel create grand mechanical garden's upon their world. Frozen moments recorded in time, fractals of time in the shape of flowers and trees, and other strange effects grace these people's homes. To the Me'vel, Art is the highest form of enlightenment not because the other subjects in existance are lesser, but rather, to them, Learning is done in the persuit of Art, and Violence alone without Art nor Fuction is far, far to easy to be worth anything in the first place.

By nature of Me'Vel culture, they will steadily and painstakingly craft additions to their bodies as they age. Slowly replacing parts and limbs with new, more functional and artistic versions that would apply towards their given field of interest. As such, these people slowly turn into living peices of art, frequently using Bronze and Gold, but occasionally using other metals as they can be found. A note of interest is that the Me'Vel are capable of harvesting Hour-Stone's for material, using their capacity to manipulate time to gather the normally difficult mine temporal stone. Of course, due to this the Me'vel are a race that is rather low in population, their people being born through acts of Passion or through the cosmic aftershocks of an event that would warp even time.

[X] The Mirror Springs Phase 2 (Lesser-Act)
-The Seen spring's waters now affect the land around it. As such, the trees grow forever, never dying.
-The longer an object or person stays within the water, the more they will improve in both body and mind (objects will gain effects in this case).
--Improvement comes in five-minute intervals after the initial healing.
--Objects and people who stay within the water for too long will start to feel like their body is bursting. If they ignore this feeling, they will explode.
--People who continue to use the Seen spring will start to find themselves more and more detached and logical as their being is improved.
-The Unseen spring's waters now affect the air around it. As such, it becomes a dark abyss.
-The longer an object or person stays within the water, the more detached their body will be from its limits (objects will gain effects in this case).
--Detachment increases in five-minute intervals after the initial injury.
--Objects and people who stay within the water for too long will start to feel too detached from themselves. If they ignore this feeling, they will fade into the Unseen.
--People who continue to use the Unseen spring will start to find themselves more and more aware and emotional as their being is awakened.
-The longer an object or person has been in one spring but not the other, the more the other spring will reject them until they cannot enter the opposite spring at all.
-An object or person who enters both springs in equilibrium will receive benefits far greater than either one separately.

[X] Create the Law of Metamorphosis (Grand Act)
-This act is an addition to the Law of Constant Evolution.
-When a non-sapient creature fulfills the proper condition(s) they will gain the ability to Evolve.
—These conditions are many and varied but are all things that would be considered impressive or unusual, if not particularly legendary in many cases.
——Example: Reaching a particularly old age for their species.
——Example: Eating an unhealthy amount of food for a long period of time.
——Example: A prey animal singlehandedly killing its natural predator.
——Example: Accidentally emulating a Legend.
—In many cases, a single condition is not enough for evolution to occur and more are needed.
-When a creature "Evolves" the Law of Constant Evolution condenses around them for a short period, rapidly transforming them.
—This transformation isn't random. It's guided both by the conditions the creature has fulfilled and by their own personal experiences.
-Creatures who Evolve generally follow one of two paths, becoming either Magic Beasts or Monsters.
—Magic Beasts are essentially just smarter versions of whatever animal they were before in addition to having some sort of instinctive magic.
—Monsters however exactly that, more monstrous versions of whatever they were before. They're stronger, faster, greedier, and overall just more dangerous.
-There is no limit to how many times a creature may evolve. The conditions simply become more difficult to fulfill with every evolution. Even evolving just three times requires the creature to start cultivating a Legend.

[X] Create the Warmaidens within the Unseen, who gaze over each battlefield appraising potential champions (Grand Act): Wracked by the tremors of the first true war among societies to occur in creation, within the depths of the Unseen comes into being a second city. But where the first is a wondrous assembly of imagination, shifting before the eye in a myriad of colours and gemstones, the second city is from the outside an imposing fortress of impossible scale, stained with ash and soot yet retaining a stark majesty. Within dwell Warmaidens, spirits of conflict who peer out into the Seen to observe conflict between thinking beings and, occasionally, intervene. A valorous youth beholds a brief vision of a winged human with the head of a hawk, wiry form lined with corded muscle, clutching something in taloned feet before the weight of a fine weapon suddenly lands in their grip so that they may drive off the raiders threatening the village. A chieftain hears faint whispers in the wind that grant insight into the foe's march, and outmaneuver the enemy warband. But, this victory from Elsewhere is a pact, not a gift. For in accepting this aid, they have pledged their fealty to the fortress-city forevermore. Be it in the very battle this aid was extended, or after a long life, when they die in the Seen and awaken to their spirit form within the Unseen, they find themselves in the fortress-city, with the Warmaiden who aided them becoming their mate and bringing about the next generation of Warmaidens, along with the spirits of each mortal who had in the Seen lived as their true companion or unfailingly loyal servant, now becoming warriors and labourers anew. And so, the fortress-city grows, with war feeding war, and its armies grow ever mightier, its forges ringing without pause.

[ ] Create the art of Arcane Architecture and teach the art to one hundred and one mortals scattered across the world.
The art of Arcane Architecture, also known as the Art of Megaliths or the Art of Geomancy, is based both on the arts of Artistry and of Vividry alike, cast in stone and other materials as expressions of the user's will. By utilizing knowledge of the arts of Artistry and of Vividry, the art of Arcane Architecture allows its user to design structures or groups of structures in ways that stir, guide, and constrain the great power found in the material of the unseen, and allow that power to manifest upon the physical in myriad ways, limited primarily by the skill of the Architect, their access to appropriate building materials and appropriately skillful labors to turn their plans from blueprints to reality, and the size of the resulting structure or group of structures. For as a power that requires the modulation of the unseen through works in the seen, the vaster the project is the greater its maximum power levels may be.

Though an unskilled Architect's city design might be equaled by a more skilled Architect's town or fortress, when all else is equal the larger geomantic network will certainly have more raw energy available to fuel its effects. Whether that effect be monoliths that store moonlight for later use, a network of aqueducts that cause water to flow uphill and heal those who drink it, or even to cause a city to stand up and walk away from its enemies. Or perhaps, fly away from its enemies? Such a work would doubtless take a true master with access to the most skilled of workers and abundant supplies of exotic materials however.

TLDR : Create an art of geomantic based architecture magic, that taps into the power of the unreal to cause effects in the material. These effects are limited both by the skill of the Architect, the availability of exotic construction materials, and the size of the resulting structure or structures.

[X] helps Skrayt matriarch of the Burned tribe (demi-act)

She will be given the power to see the potential and the weaknesses of everything that exists ... and how to take advantage of them (the potential and the weaknesses).

For example: if she sees someone who could be a great sorcerer, she will know it and how to make that potential come true.
If you see, for example, the spirit of the sea, you will know that her weakness is the expansion of the lands and she will know how to make the lands expand (and if she can do it or knows / exists someone who can do it, it is something else ... that more than a step by step will be something like: weakness, the expansion of the lands, how you can do "eruption of volcanoes, help from creators / divine beings, magic")

But as payment she will have to try to spread as much as possible without endangering her life the worship of Salocin, a god without a predetermined physical form but who usually takes the form of a white snake with red eyes ...

if you want to blame someone for this, blame photo for arousing my curiosity for what would happen

[X] Create the Seared Spear (lesser Act)
-This unassuming weapon looks like nothing more than a plain spear, scorched and burned along its length, with rusted and pitted iron forming its point. However, its appearance belies its true power; once charred, no flame nor heat can harm it nor its wielder again. Its haft, cracked and warped, cannot actually be broken. Its point, though rusted, never loses its sharpness.
-The power of the Seared Spear is in weakness; for every aspect of itself and its wielder that is battered, bent, or damaged, it ensures it cannot be fully broken. It is the might of the feeble against the mighty. The greater the disparity in power between its user and its target, the deeper the spear will bite. In the hands of a mighty warrior, it is barely more useful than any other spear save its near indestructibility. In the hands of battered and beaten slave, rising against a mighty master, few weapons will ever be able to match it.
-What is still needed, is the courage to wield it. To accept wounds and press forward regardless. To bend without breaking. To suffer, and rise anyway. But with these, the Seared Spear allows the meek to overthrow the mighty.
-In turn, as its user grows stronger, as they overcome their weaknesses themselves and outgrow their need of it, the spear becomes ever more likely to slip from their hands, or disappear forgotten, to be found anew by some other oppressed soul in need of salvation.

The Spear will initially be granted to the Skrayt that wrote in the Book of Maker Support. I suppose I didn't specify that origionally, but it is the intent.

Guys, Expanding the Function of the World Tree is a Grand act, not a Cosmic one.

Hm. I am inclined to say Cosmic, given how the Act enables the appearance of countless new sub-realms... but the Unseen already is getting new places and sights as reflections of the Seen and through the whims of spirits. So it fits. It does make some big changes, so. I'll say Grand!

In response to Mannan's Act.

Guh, i worry how Fingerkings would work with the Dream doggos, but they are tricksters at heart, so they might end up fooling Fingerkings into giving them power and loosing out on the possession part. hah.

or they would become best friends with them. One of those....

[X] Expand the Functions of the of the World Tree

Essentially turns the World Tree into a True Axis Mundi and creates countless stable sub realms in the Unseen and the support to create ever more.

Honestly I wonder if I should keep it as a Cosmic Act for the greater oomph and the fact that their are a lot of other Grand Acts in competition that I really want to pass and only 1 other Cosmic Act.

Other:
[x] Create the Lineals and give them to the Cultivars, to use appropriately and with caution. (Grand Act)

[ ] Create the art of Arcane Architecture and teach the art to one hundred and one mortals scattered across the world.
I think this was already done in Epoch 6. I don't think there would be a major qualitative change if we do it again this epoch.
Mystical Architecture:

The Makers whisper knowledge into the dreams of mortals, telling them how to construct architecture to augment their magics under the Law of Artistry. Pyramids, circles, towers, chasms, bowls and other grand structures now resonate for certain uses of magic as grand symbols of the Law of Artistry. Magic-using mortals are inspired to experiment and to construct ritual places for their casting. The White Ants begin building their hives in shapes that pool and channel lunar magic. An Algal colony learns to craft coral to strengthen and restrain the effects of their Shaping. A Sura fighter realizes that training his Vigor in a specially prepared arena focuses its effects within him. Others come to identify other shapes and tricks as well. Lesser Act: Go amongst the races and teach them how to construct their own mystical architecture

[X]The Tenders (Lesser Act)
The spirit of some trees and plants that have passed is given new awareness and tools. It is their duty to act in the repair and cultivation of the tree. Aiding the recovery of its roots when strange things break them immune to ichor and the roots of the tree themselves so that they may pass through them to due their endless labors. They are slow to action and reserve, but they are dutiful in whatever they do. However, should they pass into the seen they are returned to their forms in the life before though the powers of the unseen remain within them, they are unable to act until they die anew. For some, it is a curse, but for others, it is a momentary respite. Not all of the Tenders will work at the tree distracted by spirits, or their own whim.

A stony offshoot of the World Tree, plucked by the hands of a Maker and placed in the center of the Shifting City. Far lesser in power than its progenitor, its burning will subsumes those of weaker wills. Time will tell what it'll become.

[] The Wreath of Sight (Lesser Act)
A thing of brambles and straw, placed somewhere within the Shifting City, unchanging eyes grow around it.

Those who have held it, may see through these eyes, and command its growth.

Those who wear it, may open the eyes, and make the Unseen Seen for as long as their will holds, growing more cumbersome as when more eyes open, as they open for longer.

It lacks a will of its own, though fate ensures it'll be in the hands of someone who will See.
