Gods of Chaos: a Riot God Quest

I think there are enough unallocated cosmic act votes that multiple can pass if those people just decided to throw in their support on any of them.

Not going to lie, I was almost tempted to just abandon my own act part way through the vote since it's obvious there's too much competition among the cosmic acts, making it harder for any of them to pass, but we're all close enough to winning that it would feel like I'm robbing the people who voted for mine. Actually, if we coordinate our votes, there's a chance that all of us can win.

Please, if you haven't voted for a cosmic act yet, support one. The World Forger is 4 or 3 votes from passing depending on if it counts as a Landmark, Second Planet has 3 or 2 until it passes, and my own mantle needs 4 until it passes.
 
I desperately want the Cosmic Forge in my life. Imagine how powerful the Abraxas could become lol.
 
kharneth look upon his children the Suras and their way of living and found both joy and worry. Joy for his children is thriving in the land they were born in and worry because the path they have chosen would significantly slow down their growth and cost what precious few time they have to grow. The seed of conflict has already been sown across the world and soon an age of war would surely come.

He decided that intervention was needed and takes the form of a Suras and appears before his children. Clad in a white and crimson robe which is ornated with trinket made out of blessed gold he stands tall at a height of 10 meters towering over even the largest of suras like they are nothing but newborn. for 100 days and 100 nights, kharneth did lecture and teach of the six paths.

-The path of the warrior: For those who love the thrill of battle, who have a great desire for self-improvement and unbreakable will. They were taught the knowledge on how to horned and push their body to ever greater height and how to wield their vast well of inner vigor.

But most importantly of all, they were taught of the warrior code a set of principles, and moral conduct that in summary teach that one should use their strength to aid those who cannot help themself, ever strive for self-improvement, and to treat the weak with honor and dignity.

-The path of the scholar: for those with an endless curiosity and whose thirst for knowledge is insatiable he taught them the scholar method. How to think critically and gain knowledge and understanding from the observation of both the world and society gave birth to scientists and philosophers.

-The path of the healer: for those with great love and compassion for their fellow kin they were taught the way of medicine. How to tend to broken bones, how to treat gaping wounds, how to cure ailments and ease suffering, what herb to use in treatment, and how to use them were imparted to those kind souls.

The path of the artisan: for those with dexterous hands and keen eyes who love to build and create they were taught the myriad craft of the artisan. From forging blades to weaving clothing, from paint and sculpting to architecture all professions that involve crafting and artistry it included in the path of the artisan.

the Path of the land: for those who are strong of body and yet gentle nature they were taught the way of the land. How to grow crops, how to raise cattle, how to mine and forage from the bounty of nature.

the path of gold: for those of sharp wit and silver tongue they were taught the way of commerce how to barter, trade, and make a profit to enrich themself and their society.

When the teaching was done kharneth created six tattoos for each of the different paths. When one becomes the greatest in any particular path the tattoo will appear upon their arm and signifying to others that they are the greatest master of the path among the still living Suras, and they are awarded the title of exarch. Once every five years, it will be their duty to appoint a Suras to become king.

after all that is said and done the maker did ascend to the heaven above leaving behind a giant fig tree where he sits to lecture and teaches, this becomes a sacred object to the Suras who often place offering at the tree root so that they make convey their gratefulness to their creator.

The sand of these deserts seem to be as deep as an ocean as one can simply keep digging and quite likely never see the bottom of them. Though one advantage to this region is the mineral rich nature of the sand, it seemingly being made of numerous different metal particles along with the normal stone that forms sand. This land is a true contradiction, holding some of the most fertile areas on the planet while also playing host to one of the most desolate regions imaginable. It will surely provide a great challenge and reward to whichever species comes to live here.(Grand Act)

Eh, that's a hard no for me. That's not a lesser act, it's a Grand Act due to the power you're bestowing on a mortal.

World Forge also includes The Forger, so it doesn't get the bonus from the act, so that's 4 votes away while yours is now three. I want to Mantle to pass, but I also want my own act to pass. But you can't always get what you want, and I'm grateful enough that my last two acts have passed.
 
Are there any cosmic landmarks purposed? Would something meant to push mortals into creating their own landmarks benefit?

[X] The Moon of the Fleshless : Take the remains of the outer god, Ithzunchult the Fleshless, and transform them into an ornate orb of brass and obsidian that will be set above the world in orbit like the existing moon does, but in a different, erratic, and hard to calculate orbit instead of the same orbit as the existing moon. Within the orb shall be kindled the remains of the spirit and mind of Ithzunchult into a new incarnation, that of a great spirit bound to the Moon of the Fleshless. As this spirit is a new incarnation it is not bound to foul hungers and ends as Ithzunchult once was, but the shadow of its former incarnation does shape it like the river bed shapes a river.

Just as the normal moon radiates the power of the spirits, the Moon of the Fleshless will radiate the power that once was Ithzunchult's, and also just like the already existing moon mortals can learn to tap into and shape that power for their own mystic acts. They should beware, however, for to channel the power of the Moon of the Fleshless is to open one's mind, body, and soul to the influence of the spirit of the moon, and distance is not a shield that can forever protect the users.

As well, the moon is invisible when the light of the sun and the moon can directly touch it, so can normally only be seen on moonless nights. (Grand Act).

It's a Grand Act right? I swapped out my Sky Sea vote for it since that one is already several above the passing threshold.

I suggest anyone else who's voting for Grand Acts that are already winning look and see what else they can support.
 
I do like the idea of tying magic types to celestial objects, very thematic, but what types of magic does the moon grant? What would the fleshless moon grant?

Though a new law later making sure the world doesn't decline and continues to grow with more than just creatures might be good, keeps the world bright and interesting even after retirement.

[X]Create the Second Planet: Farther out in orbit than the first world, this world is given a thicker atmosphere to deal with the lesser amount of heat. It is completely covered in water save for two large mountains on the poles whose peaks jut out of the water. On these peaks are two Cosmic Paths that link to its elder sister, their end points located within the world pillars of the first world.

I personally don't think we need to make pantheons yet. It's still early in the world's development. Once gods start coming out of the woodwork, they'll start forming themselves.
 
Yeah, we have a demigod generator operating now. At least one pantheon will probably assemble itself, in time.

I'm quite looking forwards to see what shows up this next round with all the new landmarks and such.
 
@Photomajig would teaching a group of people how to build monuments, specifically studying the world-song stones to create architecture that interacts with the unseen, count for this epochs bonus? And if I taught just a random smattering of each race would that be demi or lesser?
