Arise o Youth, Destiny is Yours (No SV, Welcome to the MCU)

The business environment for foreign corporations in Third World countries is godawful during this time period. Very few were even open to them in any real sense.

Most Third World states will be closed off until the idiocy of Import Substitution dies off (the 1980s).
Basically, we're really limited in expansion unless we decide to use our nearly unlimited wealth now from Viagra, to start doing some regime changes.

Sure it would not be the best thing, and our MC would never do it, but its just business after all.
Granted, medical goods may get a pass for some of them, but our penis pill sure as heck won't.
You'd be surprised what a fertility enchanter can do to help buissness.
No, better off to focus on Europe and the rest of the West first. We're not even close to solidifying our hold over the market there. Doing anything else is putting the cart before the horse.

For expansion beyond Europe and North America? Japan (and SK & Taiwan years after that).
Try Southern China, as the Republic of China and the PRC are now not unified, but the Civil war is on hold.

So there is always that.
Maybe not right now as the MC specs in pharmaceutical but would really like to see him studying mutant abilities to replica with technological means. Like Erik could lead from something simple as superior MRI to EM repulsion and shields. Mystique biology being closer to area of study could also lead to him creating bio metal with morphic properties like the Sentinels-X from DoFP film. There are ton of various mutant abilities that like phenomena regular scientist would kill to study.
THere is potential, but the problem with that is: If we reveal the existence of mutants in a way that would fuck all of us over.

Looking at You Hydra, fury and co.
How did we make so much money?
Viagra.

Also, in case you haven't noticed from my answers...

China is in a very interesting place right now.

There may not be a continued fighting and civil war right now, but that does not mean things are going good.

Changing my vote, I want to have Erik as companion for our adventures.

Fair enough. However, I'd like to point out that choosing to raise him to our Chief Negotiator wouldn't mean he doesn't join us in adventures. Keeping him as head of security merely increases the chance he joins us without prompting (as per its description).

I'm advocating giving Erik work that would promote him talking with people all over the world and doesn't require him to be paranoid as a part of his job description.

Also, want to have him bond with his daughter (thus the Erik's Bizarre Adventure choice- he doesn't seem to want to change his daughter's diaper).

Also, as has been suggested, Malaria drugs (which already exist at this time) might not be the best way to make money at this time. Don't get me wrong: it is absolutely a laudable goal. However, with the Marshall Plan getting a chill, it is important for us to sell things that make money to rebuild Germany.

Once Germany is no longer a bombed-out country, we certainly should try more philanthropic works.

Especially since said pills unlike other potentially illegal drugs have no seriously negative side effects.
And our pills actually work... Unlike a lot of other traditional remedies it is not a placebo made from dehydrated body parts of endangered species.

True, it was me the one who suggested to create viagra and the cure for alopecia, but I want to have Erik as a companion more...

I mean, we still have time to create lots of profitable drugs, and we are not going to run out of money anytime soon.

Well, I guess the question is what type of companion you want Erik to be. Because, again, we will still have Erik as companions in adventures- keeping him as a security guard just improves the probability of him joining our adventures unprompted (suggesting that we could prompt him to join us in certain adventures). We would still have him potentially join our adventures unprompted if he were the Chief Negotiator.

But, as Chief Negotiator AND with us doing his bonding with his daughter adventure (which Rapid Expansion does not have) I believe we have the chance to have a better developed, more well-rounded Erik with a more amenable worldview.

As to money, sure. But...whether we will run out of money soon or not depends on what we want to do with what we have. Ideally, I would like to spend every penny available that is not being used for upkeep or salary to be invested in building Germany. The original Marshall plan had around 1.4 billion dollars invested in Germany over 4 years. At our current rate, we would be just shy of that and, even then, Germany took decades to rebuild (it understandably did not get the largest share of the pie). With more money, we could rebuild Germany into a future-friendly world with well designed infrastructure ready to be further enhanced. We just need a HUGE amount of money.

You think that just because we have money, dose not mean Germany will accept it.

Esspcially when we're a jew... whom everyone is still wary of.

Lets just say they will think we will try to make them a puppet state of Israel.
