Super Hero:
March 5th, 1949
Eric was feeling very jovial today, when you saw him playing with a few coins that were within the palm of his hands, playing tricks, throwing them around, and doing impossible tricks with them, yet they were so mesmerizing you didn't know how it was possible. "Ah, Heinrich, good to see you." He said as he put the coins into his pocket.
You thought your felt something move towards Eric, as if the metal coins in your pocket were trying to escape, but were somehow still contained by sheer luck. "Likewise Eric. What are you doing?"
"I was just doing some tricks." He said. "A street magician taught me." He was lying… but he was not lying about the tricks.
"Right. Well, did the equipment get unboxed?" You asked.
"Ya." His sighed. "It was a little difficult and one beaker broke upon arrival, but everything else was fine."
"Which beaker?" You asked.
"A Florence Flask I think?" He replied, looking a little confused as he walked next to you. "It was one of the ones we had twenty of."
Good, that meant you might be down a little on production. But whenever you start, you would be able to produce enough to save people, at least in local hospitals. You were about to start rambling on starting to create orders, but instead, you saw how frustrated he was.
You could see the deepness in his eyes, how lost they were, deep in thought, deep in compilation.
He was angry. "Is something wrong?" You asked.
Eric then slammed his hand down on the table. "They tried to do it again. Take over Germany." He wasspeaking about Them. The Nazis. "Haven't they caused enough trouble?"
You shook your head. "But they failed. And they will never come back." You needed him to calm down. It was over.
"That is not the point!" Eric roared, and you saw the metal coins, the pipes, even the metal lab equipment float above him, almost unconsciously. He noticed, and slowly, everything started to be set gently down. "I'm sorry."
"It's alright." You stated. "Magnetism? Or is it metagenesis?" You asked.
Eric frowned, before wiping his face with his hand, trying to calm himself. "I don't know. I control metal, and thats all I know I can do. What about you?"
You realized that you both finally understood how different you were from regular people. "I can learn anything, with such little effort. I learned how to be a doctor using textbooks, and seeing things. I learned how to fake dying, from being shot in the head, by nearly dying." You found yourself shaking your head. "Schmit, whatever his name is, said that we were genetic anomalies. Different from regular people."
"Do you believe in Revenge?" He asked.
"No." You shook your head. "Revenge is empty, hollow, and futile." You said. "I believe in justice, in the form where people are punished fitting their crimes. For justice is the only way that the world can be righted." Eric frowned, not understanding what you said. "But seeking justice, by being something that can see it done? Is that what you are asking?"
"I cannot stand by and be a simple observer in the world." He stated. "Only that we have the power to be the change that will make the world better. To make the world safer."
"Are you saying that because you desire Justice? Or because you have the power to enact your own justice upon them?" You asked, raising a concerned eyebrow.
"If justice needs to be done, by me hunting them down like the dogs they are, then I will!" Eric growled.
"And what about Magda?" You asked. "Don't you have a child on the way. What if something happens to you, and you come home a bitter broken man. You'll be no better than the men you are hunting."
Eric tossed the hat off your head. "What I have seen, what I have done?" He growled. "I will make them all stand trial. Now, will you help me, or not?"
"I never said I was going to help you." You stated. "Only that I would listen to you. But there are other ways we can help the world. Healing people most of all."
Eric fumed, he was unconvinced.
Perhaps you can say something to make him feel better, or focus his energies.
What do you say:
[]Perhaps it is time we looked to help our fellow man. The streets of Berlin are not safe at night, and there is an evil criminal organization that wishes to corrupt the masses. We can stop it. By becoming Symbols not only to the people of Berlin but to the world." (Starts: This War of Mine Arc)
[]We should take a walk, maybe we need to clear our heads, and just think a little longer. Talk about what kind of person, we are, and how that affects us? Besides, what's the worst that can happen? (Starts: An American Telepath in Berlin Arc)
[]Come with me, if you really wish to help bring justice to Nazis that deserve it, we can talk to The Old Man. He's been working with Israeli intelligence to start hunting down the War Criminals that went underground after the War. He Calls it Operation Eir, after the Germanic Goddes of Healing. They want to heal German Jewish relations, one criminal, at a time. (Starts: Vengence for Millions Arc)
AN: Enjoy and please, choose wisely. This arc will affect certain... things in the future.
