Gods of Chaos: a Riot God Quest

You know, this entire worldbuilding thing can turn into genuine geopolitical competition if you let it go long enough. Players will want to retain dominance over the world and become a cosmic deity after retirement, and they'll sponsor various races and acts to do so. Empires fueled by divine competition will rise and fall and rise and fall over and over again. Even the most inactive of players can create entire religions just by making a divine tree or artifact for others to worship.
Gonna be honest, I really don't think that's a direction we want to go towards. The number of votes grand and cosmic acts need are pretty hardcore - folks will need to collaborate to make big, sweeping changes that'll be fun to read about. If we as a playerbase start looking at this as a competition, then we'll struggle to achieve those votes, and the epochs will end up being shaped by lots of little demi- and lesser acts with a much less cohesive theme. Granted, I might be being too pessimistic, but...

[] the grand penguins (cosmic act)

Hey, it's me again, so while I was drawing The Watcher and The Historian I also drew this but stopped halfway, Ik`Shar because while rereading I realized that he did not have legs and I was worrying over nothing so I drew a ball and put some eyes in it. And the World Sea because while working on it I realized that we still had not given it a solid form or a name (which should be Pent) and so I just drew an outline.

Will the volcanoes eventually cool and create something similar to the Scottish Highlands?

Yeah. I was thinking more like "cool and create something like Yellowstone", but it's a just a continent with some geological activity, not Mordor. Unless somebody works to make it Mordor, at least.

I'm trying to get lots of foundations laid here at the beginning, so there's room for doing stuff later. When people are ready to start adding non-ocean life, there'll be a continent for that life to live on, and explore.

That reminds me, next turn I'm going to actually have to create plants and trees. Sure the Abraxas may be cool but an actual green world would be very nice.

[ ] Create the K'orlannsch, sizable and intelligent air-breathing worms that subsist on sunlight alone. (Grand Act)
For it was witnessed that Ik'Shar lamented its solitude upon creation
And so, it was willed that Ik'Shar would know companionship
Their forms shadowed the algae as they crawled unto the island from the waves
Loosing great bursts of intruding sea-spray from their breathing orifices
That even in such squalor and misery emerged as a deep, primordial song

Here's my first contribution to this thread.

[ ] Create Law of Constant Evolution (Cosmic Act)

And lo, mighty Bigru looked upon Creation and found it stagnant. He saw that the universe did not grow unless the makers willed it so. In his boundless pity, was his law made reality. Thus, Creation knew imperfection/growth

[ ] Create the Custodians. (Cosmic Act)
In an instant, or perhaps an eternity, The Universe was born. A place with the potential of untold wonders.
Yet, our focus remains on but one world and its star.
Thenceforth we shall make the Custodians, and they shall tend to the Universe in our stead.
They shall conjure both horrors and wonders.
Perform acts both big and small.
And one day, when our work is done, we shall retire to the stellar garden that they have so meticulously maintained.
I'm not so sure about Custodians on a meta level. It feels like we'll be putting Photomajig on the spot to constantly generate novel events for us - I think it's better if we let them develop organically as a consequence of events.

But... their entire purpose is to maintain the universe so we can get things to develop until we either interfere again or retire into the stars. All he'd need to do is mention that things are going good... at least until they're not.

Aren't we effective the Custodians though?
We're more like managers while the custodians would do most of the micromanaging of the universe.

Or others words we're gods, so we're gods so inevitably we'll play the games of divinty while our lessers slaves creations take care of the grunt work

EDIT : sorry, didn't notice that only one act could be made per user in one epoch.

[X] Create a moon as a font of magic and the bridge between the Real and the Unreal (Cosmic Act)
[] Create the Ouroboros, a monstruously powerful sea serpent tasked with protecting the world from external threats (Cosmic Act)
[] Create a sentient race of octopuses (Grand Act)

(The following are not mine)

[X] Create Leviathans (Grand Act): As plate tectonics warm the floor of the World Sea, and the sea flourishes with nutrients, the waters are ripe for larger life. Create reptilian, serpentine filter feeders that sup upon that life and relish the warmth. Intelligent in their way, and immortal unless killed, these creatures will never stop growing unless they die, and will grow in wisdom and power as they age.
[X] (Cosmic Act) Create The Stars and Star-trails
Every star represent a story written by one's life. Most do not shine bright enough to be seen by the naked eye. But the ones who are have Blazed their Trail to be Followed by others, granting them fascimiles of the Trailblazer's characteristics.
[X] Create pathways through which the worlds can be connected forevermore (Cosmic Act)
[X] Raise up the City of the First Children by the Island. (Grand Act)

[X] Create pathways through which the worlds can be connected forevermore (Cosmic Act)

The worlds and stars we have built will be enjoined. For some worlds, their pathways are hidden and difficult to find, and in other worlds grand and obvious. They are not equally distributed. Some worlds have the fortune - or misfortune - to have many pathways and certain to be a hub in some future epoch. Others shall only have a handful or even one, destined to be far-flung outposts. By and large they are a constant, though with sufficient effort and cunning new pathways may be created or unsealed, or the reverse, with an existing pathway between worlds sealed shut (a world may never be truly isolated, although it can be made extremely difficult to reach to the practical point of the same).

[X] Create the Skylands (Grand Act): A series of floating islands of various shape and size that float up amid the clouds of the world. Most are small scattered islands, a few are larger landmasses, a couple are even the size of small continents. Much like the land below, these islands come with their own assorted biomes and climates. These islands in effect create another 'surface' high above the 'true' surface of the world, but with a 'sea' of air rather than a 'sea' of water; a mix of clouds, specially strong air currents, and plant growth between these islands enable traversing between them. The islands are held in air through a mix of supernatural forces and a gravitonic metal that gives each island its own miniature center of gravity that creates a bonus effect whereby the underside of each floating island likewise has a gravitational force that pulls things 'upside down'.
