To Struggle and Strive: The Combined Syndicates of America in 1932. A Kaiserreich Quest

Not necessarily. We spent time with family last turn, so we could do something else this turn if needed. Probably not another Work Overtime until Reed's Stress is fully down to Low though.

Yeah, that sounds good to me.

Wait, Butler's going to be doing that. We can trust him to do it. But... we also need to ask if we're okay with the Anti-Corruption thing only having one die.

Alright, so Butler can handle weapon procurement, but we almost certainly need a 2nd die on Anti-Corruption. Aside from that, another must-have this turn is Scab Intimidation, as well as at least a couple options that increase the influence pool to work down our surplus.

Hrm.... I suppose there's the question if we think the reactionary militias have been neutered enough to the point where a single die on Scab Intimidation is considered enough. Keeping in mind that we also have a +15 Omake boost to the next Militant action, plus Lawson giving another +10.

I think maybe we shouldn't try to rush out all the Influence Expansion options all at once. Like say, take out Expanding Electoralism and Back Up Butler for now, but do them next turn, while this turn we work on a Propaganda Team and Expand Party Bureaucracy.

Not doing Expanding Electoralism until we've sorted out the SLC's bureaucracy also makes narrative sense.

Expanding Electoralism actually seems to fit with starting the Electoral Campaign, though? Gives Thomas and others something to work with next turn as the campaigning starts in earnest.

So many interesting options to take. I would say have one dice on pink unions as spa are doing that as well. Maybe risk one dice on AntI corruption

Then go all in on influence.

Essentially every influence we + means a doubling of this influence taken next turn.

I also wonder if we spend one semi perm military dice on installing discipline?

This is something that fits the budget. Obviously the name of the last one isn't right. But, this is about what we could do safely.

I think the above plan actually has a lot of synergy. We're planning careful retaliation while acting against Adventurism and answering democratic critiques of the Red Guard code.

We're propagandizing against Pink Unions, for ourselves, and therefore starting our election campaign... and by empowering ourselves, creating a propaganda team, and empowering Thomas we put ourselves on a good footing.

Instead of election campaign investing in another subordinate or taking a low hanging fruit seems a better use.. like giving butler another influence

Not taking the Election Campaign represents a full month where the SPA isn't doing active campaigning for the midterm elections, which are pretty big in giving us control over a lot of different places.

Like New York for example. Getting not just NYC, but the Governorship of the New York state would be a very big win. Not to mention everything else.

Not thrilled with the other plan, since spending time with our family on back to back turns is the deal breaker for me.

There's something to be said for direct retaliation after the events of last turn, and the whole Black Legion shenanigans this turn.

Just thought you should know, the Retaliation Version now has the Personal Action on directly boosting Against Pink Unionism instead of Spending Time with Family.

Which I would say is worthwhile given that it should be a +15 to a roll we only have a single die on right now.

Thanks! Switching.

Scabs are the real foot soldiers of reaction, especially in this setting. We should've done something about them a long time ago, but I'll settle for now.
