The fighters will be a welcome help, and those Vindicators are no slouch either. Top it off with Quasar Fires being perfect for modifying and repairing small ships (easily turning a hangar bay into a machine shop with how compartmentalized they are) and our TIE squadrons should have better survivability, if only because of their mother crafts utility. Also, TIE fighters are kinda being phased out, we should have more Interceptors now with how late in the war it is. Also, probably some of the more common special variants like the Brute or Striker. And hopefully Reapers too. I guess we'll have to find out. Fighters, interceptors, and bombers are a gaurantee, however, luckily those are standard.

While a fighter jock might be cool, but having a man capable of keeping our ships going is more valuable, IMO.

Light elements can be quite useful in the right situations. I'm also thinking that the Naval liaison might have contacts in the Stormtrooper ranks, which might equate to more ground troops. Also I want to be a bit of a contrarian.

As for carriers, though there were only a few mentions, Legends had the Secutor class as what is effectively an embiggened Venator, in service as late as 10 ABY.

Thoughthe stats conflict with the actual appearance, the Gladiator Class Star Frigate is also a good choice for a more well armed carrier.
 
Huh, potentially bringing an entire supremacy fleet to the New Republic would certainly explain why she would be allowed to remain out of prison.

The soon to be New Republic are somewhat lacking in task forces capable of policing large areas of space effectively at the moment.

Seriously, if the new republic forces us to captain one of their oblong space potatoes instead of a glorious triangle I hope we're defecting right back.

If we had Defenders, I'd be voting for the pilot, but there is no evidence we have Defenders, therefore Battlewagon Mafia is go.

EDIT: Battlewagon Mafia was what the faction was called earlier, switching to that.

Captain? The demotion, on top of swallowing with grace the humiliating style downgrade from Star Destroyers (S-Rank) to Mon Cal Space Potatoe (C-Rank) must count towards our atonement, right? :V

Which implies that Shara may be given a great deal of freedom with which to pursue her redemption...or lack thereof.
