If it's anywhere else it would give mixed signals.

Staying would do more damage, and trading is way too dangerous, not like humans would respect a pokemon.

To get one last look before setting off on our human trainer journey.

Before we can usurp Team Rocket, we must find Team Rocket.

Traveling will give us more life and battle experience. There's also the fact that if we ever want to evolve (for some reason) we need a Thunder Stone and we ain't finding it if we never leave the forest.

[X] Trade. You've made a lot of enemies in your campaign against the Humans, but you've also stolen trophies you don't need or value much - and which others do, enough to pay you for them.

What would Trixie ask for as payment that would be worthwhile?

Gear, food, land, information, medicine, or manpokepower are all I can think of- and all of those sound valuable in the short and long term. Plus it might allow a way to edge into a term of defeat the humans will allow themselves to accept.

Lets take this tiny menace on the road! Lets go out there, make our own team of pokemon who refuse to be domesticated, fight the Teams and go bother legendaries!

[X] Teach. You have a new litter of siblings, and the last few Pichus from your own littermates could use your help in pushing past the last barrier of evolution. If nothing else, they'll be allies.

I would really like to teach. Doesn't look like that's gonna win at this point, but might as well vote for it.

She can always travel later on, right now teaching her family how to protect themselves from being captured and raising hell like she is doing should be a top priority, she has seen just how far somre trainers can go for a good catch.

If she just up and disappears they Might decide that trying for her litter would be the best play to see if any of them have the same potential as her, and if they do her family is pretty muvh screwed.

So yeah, teaching first, travelling later.

The thing about traveling is, well, look at this last update. Trixie here relies on knowing the environment better than her opponents. She kind of loses that edge if she goes to somewhere new.

You guys think we can manage to get all eight Badges while Wild? It would be awesome.

Honestly? Trixie needs a reality check. She's getting arrogant as well as callous about the consequences of her actions. I wonder how many of her siblings are going to die thanks to the increasingly hostile forest without the trainers to help hold back some of the more powerful and predatory mon.

Yeah, but if we ever want to go anywhere else that's going to be a problem sooner or later. Right now there are increasingly powerful trainers coming hunting for her personally, right around here, and they're gonna keep hitting her with outsidecontext problems anyway. The difference is, they're problems of the form "more advanced tech specifically for capturing Pokemon," instead of "Trixie doesn't know the local wildlife intimately."

Pika Gang? Pika Gang.

This was a really good chapter. It's interesting to see Trixie end up with so much more than she can handle, and it also laid out very starkly why this trainer wasn't a good fit for her.

And awww, her mother came and rescued her. I'm looking forward to the scene with her.
