Smh, doesn't it know that only Trixie is allowed to use speed bursts?
That's a good point. Trainers aren't going to be very careful about telling apart Pikachu in the forest, and the heat we're bringing down isn't likely to do our family a lot of favors.Pika-grandpa and Pika-mama went all over the place, causing trouble and getting into fights, and while that didn't actually make them any less dangerous, it did make them better at picking fights. Plus, Pika-mama thinks it'd probably be a good idea for Trixie to maybe let things quieten down a bit and, you know, let the trainers get bored and stop hastling other Pikachus who aren't as nastily cunning. She has other children to think of who haven't inherited Pika-grandpa's tendency to do things like headbutt Onixes and pick fights with gods.
We encounter an ancient hapless Meowth who thinks we are horrifyingly familiar.(Because it feels like it would be deeply hilarious if Trixie ended up running with Jessie and James' crowd not out of coercion, but just out of preference because of the way her life ended up going. Though honestly, it doesn't feel like any of these options actually detract from that possibility.)
