Even after the reboot, I'm still trapped in the wrong anime!

Argus is surprisingly good with school work.
You explain that you were born with a tragic deficiency in common sense, as such, Dusk was provided to make sure you didn't do things like eat firecrackers, poke wasp nests, or purchase more then 30 pounds of cheese at a time.
Heh. Well, good thing that Dusk's existence is going over the student populace well.
Argus Knowledge: 9,10 = 3 successes
Shouldn't this be two successes?
Coach blows his whistle at the start of class, getting everyone's attention. "As we are no longer legally allowed to have you play dodge ball, today, we are playing Hitball!"

... really?
Ah, the beauty of legal loopholes.

[X] Give only as good as you get.

Nope, that is correct. 7,8,9 is a success, with 10 being two successes. It makes it so that you can occasionally have more successes then dice rolled. Weird, but there it is. It is stated in the mechanics already. I checked.
Oops, sorry, forgot about that.

Hitball!!!
Give only as good as you get.

The class was quickly divided up via draft. You were picked near the end seeing as you were a relative unknown, which suited you just fine. Dusk went to the bleachers to observe while you got your physical activity on.

With a toot from Coach's whistle, the game started, everyone rushing for the balls that were simultaneously too many and not enough. You did fairly well, deciding not to go all out, and watching others. You saw one wimpy looking kid make a sad attempt at a throw that barely left their hand, gain a defeated look, and immediately head for the bleachers. Another noodley child decided to tape a number of balls to themselves. Surprisingly this strategy worked. Another standout was dodging with ease and holding a conversation.

Simple Difficulty (1)
Argus (Athletics x1.5): 5,8,9 = Two successes (Pass +1)
AA: 4,6,8 = One Success (Pass)
A1: 3 = Fail
A2: 8 = One Success (Pass)
-A1: (Fate Die) 8 = Fail
-A2: (Fate Die) 10 = Two Successes (Pass +1)

With most of the chaff now sitting on the bleachers it was down to the actual athletes!

... And the one kid who managed to get away with being an invincible ball golem.

The kid who was holding a conversation earlier decided it was time to go carry his team while the others struggled to keep up.
Moderate Difficulty (2)
Argus (Athletics +1 x1.5): 2,5,7,10 = Three successes (Pass +1)
AA: 2,10,10 = Four successes (Pass + 2)
A2: 10 = Two Successes (Pass)
-A2: 10 = Two Successes (Pass)

It was then that the gods of athletic endeavors saw fit to bless their golden child, as the one called Cody became an Avatar of Hitball utterly dominating the field. The stragglers fell to a rain of rubbery death, and even the previously thought invincible ball golem found that they had cracks in their defense. You'd like to think you held up well, but fell under the onslaught like the rest.

Tough Difficulty (3)
Argus (Athletics +1 x1.5): 3,3,8,8 = Two Successes (Fail)
AACody: 3,4,6,9,10,10 = Five Success (Pass +2)
A2: 3 = Fail
-A2: (Fate Die) 7 = Fail

You were the last to give under Cody's barrage, and for that he congratulated you with a bright and friendly smile, and a hearty handshake.

"Wow, you're really good!
Cody (Fortitude + Discipline): 3,4,6 = No Successes (Fail)
And I'm gonna pass out now!"

And immediately put action to words by slumping to the ground.

Dusk came by to look him over before turning to you, "You should probably take him to the nurse."

Probably.
Argus (Athletics + Might): 3,7,9,10 = Four successes
You lift Cody up like a kitten, and Dusk climbs to his traditional spot and directs you to the nurse's office leaving the unconscious athlete to the tender mercies of the healer. Job done, you wander away having completed your daily educational obligations.

Technically there's still more PE, but you, personally, are done for the day and would like to not deal with the crowd of students in their own rush to leave the building.

So...
[ ] Go bother the police (Specifically McMilliken)?
[ ] Get the layout of the town?
[ ] Go bother the other students (Social Activity? *Gasp!*)?
[ ] Something else... (Pending GM approval)
