Even after the reboot, I'm still trapped in the wrong anime!

So, this time I thought I'd start rolling here, just to see if anything changes.

[X] Gather more information about this place
I think it's pretty clear by now that we're not in Kansas anymore (unless we are...? lol)

Edit: It appears that I am too late lmao

This seems like a very sleepy town, with only one librarian in the library.

[X] Research the practical, everyday differences from your world (medical knowledge, general tech, prizes for demonstrating supernatural phenomena)

We need an income stream eventually, and the best bet seems to be Dusk's healing abilities

All right, time to see what's happening now.

Really hope that this doesn't result in everyone going "Now how do we undo the premise of this quest?"

I didn't pick it up even thinking about that. I chose that option cause it seemed logical to do considering what Argus is going through, and it might give him a hint of what to do next or where to head next. A magical residue of some kind to follow, or something.
[X] Try and figure out how you got here.
Sorry, the vote is over.

I don't see making contact with our homeworld as undoing the premise, but rather as doubling down on the premise. Why have one trainer in the wrong anime when you can have fifty? The masquerade is all that keeps the mundane world from the knowledge of magical girls? Blow it right open with an army of 'mons. LIBERATE ALDERMIRE FROM THE TYRANNY OF THIS SHADOW WAR!

I await the day when we can scream out [Henshin} and cause a giant WTF from both sides of the magical world. Though that bring up the fact how we gonna get our power ups from.

I picked that option because I thought wandering around poking anything that looks vaguely supernatural seemed like the fastest way to trip over the plot, not out of any desire to actually go back wherever Argus came from.

I am thinking something along the lines of trying to have the MC collect information on this world's history and technology that his world might not have. Going around as a tourist and keeping a journal of his journey in a world he never made.

Time for some Shonen!
Try and figure out how you got here.

Alright, first things first, go back to where you first popped up and see if you can find any clues.

When you and Dusk get there, you both come to a realization: You have no idea what you're even looking for.

To every one of your and Dusk's senses there is absolutely nothing special about the location, nothing about the buildings, or the street, or the plants, or anything. You spend the rest of the day trying to find something, but this is unlike anything you'd been prepared for. Your teacher covered a lot of odd situations, but nothing like this.

It is as the two of you wonder around, lost and directionless, that you hear the music.

You think it's fairly catchy, though, perhaps not catchy enough for all the random people that seem to be caught up in the tune, dancing to the music.

... of course now that you think about it, you seem to be the only one not dancing, and the people, swaying to the groove as they are, don't seem to be enjoying it...

And that's when you notice the bear.

The zombie bear.

That's also dancing.

And is about to start attacking people in time with the musicandOHSHIT!

To be fair, this was to be expected.

Ah, but doesn't the fact that it has nothing special about it make it special?

Hear that? That is the sound of plot coming towards us.

[X] PUNCH IT!
[X] Yes

Take down the bear before it can attack people. And now reason to reveal Dusk now, let him keep the element of surprise.
