The Dawi change the game(An GOT/Warhammer crossover)

anybody feel like summarizing the differences in this treaty from the one he made and broke before? Just wanted to make sure that there is no attempting to skip past the issue of his about face and that this one is harsher.

Also should there be any naval terms? I did not see any from a glance over and since it seems like the 5 kingdoms will attempt to use naval in the future if their coming by boat is anything along with the obviously more fortified Neck. Also don't want any BS about fishing/whaling rights and such in the future.

Edit: Also any thoughts on whether they are allowed to do shenanigans with dragons/wyrms? The one Rhaeynes had really grew and I can't help but feel that Aegon will take note of that. Maybe something about preventing any hunting trips or export of that sort of magic rich food? In the distant maybe future we could use that to get better relations and trade but definitely not now

Well regardless the north is weakened right now and cant afford to continue this war. Its good terms for what it is. though if we REALLY wanted to get picky we could argue for their aid in freeing our kin from the druchii and putting the iron isle alight. but other then that im fine with the terms.

@Mad0Slayer what did the glover host want coming here, it wasnt stated in the update?

I do wonder, after seeing and experiencing the winter in the North, will we have the option to help expand and improve the agricultural of the land? Like helping building new and improved field or even mushroom cavern and/or underground field or room? I mean the greybeard could grumble all they want but even them have to admit the dwarf like stubbornness that the human have to have to survive and prosper in this place...what do you think? Even the sending of expert will massively help improve the North 🤔

I do believe that I forgot about adding why they came to your hold. (I might just add it in later or try and rework the post so that it mentions it as for why they went it was just to help out will try and fit in how they knew to come in later) oh well I will see what I can do.

[] Hold the Forts while the free Throng and allies you reinforce them

[] Have them burn the ships and supplies of the Invaders and have them call for reinforcements.

So for the vote im thinking this. We hold them at the forts with our force. They have no dragon and will have to fight dawi on their own forts. While the rangers ensure they have to way to leave or seige us and call on our allied hold for aid.

sounds good making them bleed for ground is what dawi do

@Mad0Slayer How big of an army did Aegon come here with?

The last time someone tried to invade our hold (the combined Dark Elf and Ironborn attack near the start of winter) was kind of expensive for us, so I'm seriously considering letting them retreat to their ships. It sounds likely to be less costly for us than forcing them to fight to the last (at least in the short term, but we should have substantially improved defenses in 2-3 years if the outcome of this battle makes it clear that such are necessary).

Seeing the clause of free passage and of non-obstruction of trade I wonder if Aegon is trying get the North closer through trade.
And the clauses concerning the Dawi will probably lead to immigration to the North since there is no way to realistically enforce the "don't call Dawi demons".

That was also before the forts were made and with half the throng being away for a time. if they had a dragon with them i would be with you in falling back to the hold but they dont and id like to prevent a siege if possible. Plus at this point if he does it again we should take the chance and show him how he messed up. Honestly if he breaks truce again i kinda want to make him bleed for it.

Hmm seems like a good deal on the face of it still looking for the poison in the tea though.

Here's the recent one:
Peace Treaty in favor of the Northern Alliance.

The five kingdoms will pay reparations to the houses of the north amounting to The Sum of 200 000 Gold Dragons are to be given to the Northern Alliance over the next 10 years (3125 Gold to each house and hold of the north)
The five kingdoms will concede defeat and a truce over Aegons rule will be established
The five kingdoms withdraw their forces from the Neck as well as a guarantee that no host will be raised to enter it.

The five kingdoms will acknowledge the Dawi of the Karaz Ankor as their own kingdom and ensure that their people are provided safe passage through their lands.
Dawi found within their lands will be respected and offered free passage to the Kingdom of the North.
The followers of the seven are to be forbidden from calling the dawi demons or other such insulting slur's.

No armies are to be raised against one another for the duration of King Aegon or King Torrens Reign.
Northern Independence Guaranteed.
Northern houses and holds are to be given leave to trade within the Targaryen kingdom without impediment and any who would seek to harm it will be put to the sword.

Queen Rhaenys is to be freed alongside her wyrm.
The Blade Dark Sister is to be returned to it's rightful house for two times it's weight in valerian Steel.
The Possibility of House Stark marrying into the Dynasty should a suitable match be agreed upon.

Here's the older one:
Peace Treaty in favor of the Northern Alliance.

The five kingdoms will pay reparations to the houses of the north
The five kingdoms will concede defeat and a truce of ten years established
The five kingdoms withdraw their forces from the swamps of the north
Queen Rhaenys is to be held till the full recovery of her wyrm(3 years)
The five kingdoms will acknowledge the Dawi of the Karaz Ankor as their own kingdom.
The Sum of 90 000 Gold Dragons are to be given to the Northern Alliance over the next 5 years (2800 Gold to each house and hold of the north)
No armies are to be raised against one another for the duration of the truce
Northern Independence Guaranteed for the next 10 years.
Northern houses and holds are to be given leave to trade within the Targaryen kingdom without impediment.

The rest of you can make of this what you will.

2. I would be in favor of some sort of restriction on the Southern Navy (it's the obvious way to bypass the choke point at the Neck that defeated them last time), but I don't know enough about the Five Kingdoms' navies and shipbuilding industries in this era of things to try to go into detail.

Next question: what concessions are we prepared to make to get those Navy restrictions? We can't agree to similar restrictions on our Navy if we want to attack the Dark Elf ark ship.

(edit)
Comparing the treaties:
1. Both have the Five Kingdoms conceding defeat and agreeing to a truce. The truce of the new treaty is longer.
> Both include a prohibition on both sides against raising armies against the other for the specified duration of the truce.

2. Both of them mentioned reparations from the South to the North; the recent one specifies a much larger amount.
> Amount per hold per year seems to be about the same, but the recent one calls for 10 years of installments, compared to 5 for the first treaty.

3. Both have some sort of promise for the South to withdraw its forces from our borders, although the phrasing and choice of landmarks is different.

4. Both acknowledge Karaz Ankor as a separate kingdom.
> The new treaty adds a guarantee of safe passage for Dawi in the South and a prohibition on using insulting slurs.

5. Both include a free trade clause.

6. King Aegon wants us to return some of the things we captured during the Trucebreaker Battle.

7. The first treaty called for us to treat Rhaenys's dragon, and allowed us to hold the pair hostage while it recovers. The new one demands their release immediately.

8. The new treaty contains an offer to consider a diplomatic marriage between House Targaryen and House Stark; the previous one didn't.

Hmm well we are out numbered though they will be trying to assault us in our moutain fortress which will be a nightmare .

Well with that we have around 5,000 men to a possible 7,500 so were not horribly out numbered here especially with a crit dawi built fort on our side. So its a very reasonable fight for us to win especially if we call for aid from the other hold.
Agreed. Outnumbered by about 3 to 2 at most, possibly less, but with our fortifications (which are quite a bit better than they were for the Dark Elf attack) that should be a manageable fight for us. I am now fine with closing their path of retreat if they try anything.

So does anyone have any thoughts on what restrictions we should demand on their navy? Or are we just taking the default option and accepting the treaty?

Dont we have the Ironwood siege catapult or something set up on the mountain in the Ranger fort? Cause if so id say burn some of the easier to get to ships then let them retreat before hammering them with the heavy weapon. Some will escape for sure but as long as it is not Aegon it is ok and would help spread the word of how mighty we are.

Edit: also id say just leave the navy issue alone. Yes most likely they will have a bigger navy than us but even if we could put restrictions on the crowns navy they would just have their bannermen build their own for 'trading'. Plus they will have to split their attention between us, Dorne, the stepstones, Dark elfs, Essos, etc. Over time we will build up our navy to be a smaller but much more professional and well armed one than the Southerners. Plus with us only having one kingdom we dont have houses with large navies fighting each other and most likely keeping a good portion at home to guard against their neighbors.

We should also alert the south of the new allies of the ironborn. Give them some real demons to throw a crusade at perhaps? They won't just take our word for it, but letting them know to reinforce the garrisons on the west coast might help build a report with the king, seeing as we have been pushing his buttons with the stone read and shield.

1. No; the Ironwood catapult was a scale model or miniature proof of concept. It was not a full size siege weapon.

2. Probably a good enough argument on the Navy issue.
> I don't think we could talk Aegon into an alliance against the Dark Elves without significantly more information on how much they've been attacking him, which we don't have.

3. On an unrelated note, I have now updated my earlier post with a summary of differences I spotted between the two peace treaties, in case anyone cares.

Vote Open.

Also let me just throw the event roll in for the next update.(Remember this might not even relate to Aegon or his army)

I don't have a plan name yet, but here's my votes:
[x] Hold the Forts and have the Throng not garrisoning them flank the host in the bay from the caves
[x] Have them burn the ships and supplies of the Invaders and have them call for reinforcements.

[x] Agree to the treaty
