The solution is obvious, to combine the mon anime with the sentai/kamen one and so each monster of the week that attacks the girls will become an upgrade for our protagonist once it's defeated!
Even after the reboot, I'm still trapped in the wrong anime!

chances are it's not really going to involve catching mons. I'm just using it as a short hand for non-human-sophant partner. So, no there will be no catching of magical girls. I might do Monsters of the Week though.
If, for some reason you want an Isekai protag, then he'd be hit by a truck and inserted into the voted setting. He'll likely be surprised at how it seems just like he's last life, and it'll probably do to some celestial bureaucratic mistake, and that's gonna have consequences.

You wouldn't be. You would have distinctly non-human mons, and there wouldn't be any reason to try and capture magical girls, provided capturing mons is even a thing. You are not going to be from pokegirl world.

Those are still possibilities. You just won't be throwing pokeballs at magical girls. In character there would be no incentives to do so.
Edit: Though Monster hunter protag would be more something if Mon and Adventure tied.

My expectations for the Mon vote was That is supposed to be a sort of Zacht bell thing except that our Mon has an horrible sense of direction and ended in the wrong world with the both of us searching for the other contestants of the Mon battle Royale without success.
I didn't vote for the magical girl world and if capturing them was possible I would have probably dropped the quest.

This is also a possibility, though this is closer to a Mon/Competition tie.
I felt I needed to state it clearly (especially to those who voted for the Mon category) because I kept seeing the throwing pokeballs at magical girls thing crop up and felt I should stamp it out before it propagates.

I did not make that assumption. Throwing pokeballs at the magical girl mascots or the monsters they fights would be amusing though, but I doubt it would do much.
I have zero interest in that. I want to see both the initial failure of the mon taming process to work on the monsters of the week, and then for it to actually succeed and start turning them into something that is as overpowered compared to the local enemies as trained pokemon are to their wild counterparts.
