@Mad0Slayer will there be a vote on what sort of specialists (ie. Runesmiths, engineers etc.) we have with us?
Yeah he might take it as an insult because well he was humiliated because of it now there's short men that look like himWell you could, just well I think Tywin would have an issue with it.
if we want a place that's hard to get to and has a good mountain range why not choose any other start so we can go to the Vale which is honestly perfect for us since it's a pretty big Mountain Range, is in the corner of the continent, and The Vale lords are kinda a toned downed version of Bretonnians with more sense and less religious fervor, plus we won't have to deal with the Neck so if we need to expand outside our Mountain Range and go towards the westerlands, or the stormlands or the mountains between the Reach and Dorne we can do so a lot easier, plus the Mountains in the Vale extennd close to the shoreline so we could make a cove type harbor.[X] Plan A King In The North!
dwali quest, best defense for us is how hard it is to get to us in the first place, get a decent mountain range and we can make satellite holds to connect with the greater hold. Thus we get something like karak eight peaks.
of course this new mountain range will be difficult to make and will need time and resources to make. hopefully without elgi or other morons fucking with us as badly as back on malleus we can then focus on rebuilding our people.
Except the Dwarves can build self-sufficient holds - something the North severely lacks.Almost every kingdom has mountain ranges on the edges, picking the north because it has mountains dosn't make much sense. Heck dorne has a massive mountain range with one route through it between it and the rest of the kingdoms. If we wanted a place to hide out it would be a great location.
Just because they don't have them dosn't mean we have to give it to them. Plus I think most places in game of thrones don't have self-sufficient holds, what with the lack of dwarves to make those holdsExcept the Dwarves can build self-sufficient holds - something the North severely lacks.
But we can use them to gain many favours with the Northern Lords, something we can eventually exploit in our favour.Just because they don't have them dosn't mean we have to give it to them. Ok and? we're not going to be underlings to some random umgi just because he actually has a beard plus since canon is a thing I don't want to deal with the Boltons and Ramsay snow at at all. Also Most of these lands don't have self sufficient Castles or Lords almost everyone has to import something.Except the Dwarves can build self-sufficient holds - something the North severely lacks.
We can do that in any other Kingdom though. But we can use them to gain many favours with the Northern Lords, something we can eventually exploit in our favour.
Yes, but we can do the same in the Vale or Dorne. Eradicating the wildclans in Vale would get us alot of clout and being part of the mountain defenses would let us gain plenty of clout as well. Not to mention our ability to make top tier stuff would give us plenty of clout gaining opportunities with everyone else. But we can use them to gain many favours with the Northern Lords, something we can eventually exploit in our favour.
Whoever said we have to be underlings? We can favour those who wish to favour us, and crush those who don't and who wrong us. I'm merely saying that if we make investments now in them, we can convince them to make investments in us in the future. By the way, have we discussed on what will we do regarding the Children of the Forest? Not sure, but maybe we can convince them to increase our fertility rates somehow.Ok and? we're not going to be underlings to some random umgi just because he actually has a beard plus since canon is a thing I don't want to deal with the Boltons and Ramsay snow at at all.
