Just a reminder; it is a bad idea to expect to gain a lot out of the seventh year.
Also, the dueling club, and thus probably even its bonuses, will probably be closed during the fifth year.

[X] "You guide the way." - You like dueling, clearly, but you don't have any aspiration to it. While trying your very best may be a bit much, you will invest some brain matter into developing your skills to further improve. But this is not an overly important matter to you in the end.

@Tabula Rasa Something that have just occurred to me, once we learn the Blue Wideye Potion, can we sell it to other students?

This potion would be quite useful for any regular student, but extremely valuable for 5th and 7th years... As we saw in the books OWL students made business with many illegal substances to get better results in their exams.

Even if we just ask for a reasonable price (2-3 times the cost of the materials) in advance we can easily brew enough potions for selling the. To our customers and keeping a few of the batch for Jacob's use in the coming months...

Sure but that doesn't change what we can do here and now. There will likely be other opportunities by then though.

Yea I'm actually quite keen on that as there will always be owl and newt students wanting a booster. So we'll have the chance to sell those year round. Make a jumbo sized cauldrons worth of the potion every 4 months to make money to pay for our own usage of the potion and to make a little extra would be nice.

Yes, brewing and selling potions is one of your possible avenues to make some gold (like the little goblin you are! Always so hungry for coins!).

And thus, Jacob became a teenage drug dealer. "I finance my own consumption like this, bro. Easy money! You should do it, too."

[X] "This is the Road to the Top" – Tracey's goal seems to be clear. She wants to rise in ranks, however long it takes her. Her fierceness inspires you as well; this is something you can do. You will aim to win the dueling tournament at the end of this year, however farfetched that goal is. Because this feels like something that could be a lot of fun.

I love, absolutely love the mysteries in this quest so far.
But I think it would be nice to have another great thing we are doing. And since this is a quest, combat seems a good option.

Also I've read Rien ne va Plus and Tabula Rasa is amazing at writing combat. As we've also seen in the few duels so far.

Being an adventurer-duelist like Indiana Jones with Magic sounds way too cool to pass up on.

Honestly, fun as some of the cases are, I would like something different to spice things up. And aiming for Dueling Club top sounds about a good spice.

23 hours-vote closed now. I apologize to all of those that didn't get the opportunity to vote. I'm in a writing frenzy right now and would like the momentum to continue.

The votes are not too far away from each other and I will respect the division and not go for a shonen duel-hungry Jacob. But there is a lot of ground in the middle that I'll love to cover :)

New chapter will be up soon.
