How can you reconcile this argument with your vote for Priority Two? Hunger is leaving the Voyaging Realm behind: the administrative trials of Nilfel are not his concern. Unless your argument is that Adorie volunteer for some nation building responsibilities right after a civil war? Hunger is leaving her to her own devices and I don't expect her to jump into a second quagmire right after the bloodbath of restoring the throne from a usurper.
Ideally this would help solve some of her problems as well, rather than being a burden shouldered out of sheer altruism. Nilfel's overpopulation problem was evident from the moment we first laid eyes on Miren, acquiring more territory in a morally palatable fashion would be good for her. But it isn't a surefire solution (geographical & logistical hurdles) and claiming otherwise would be disingenuous, I'm just brainstorming ways to mitigate our mitigation. In the end, I value Hunger's safety more than the Delta's.

The index has been updated, please let me know if you find something I've missed.
How bold... assuming you'll get picks for an enemy that weak...
Hearing that we've outscaled him (again) warms the frigid cockles of my heart. Can we spend another Apocryphal proc buffing Ber, get the Curse to embrace the sunk costs? Or maybe just juggle him until we're done with this Geas task, until the first boss also being the last boss is a meme from both our perspectives, each party saving the other as a fight for some metaphorical rainy day... I do hope we find out what his deal is, even if the fight's more of an execution. He's lingered long enough in the thread's consciousness to merit resolution.
Yeah, the Voyaging News segments are great, kudos to Sharkey for making them. There's always at least one line that makes me laugh. This time it was the guy in a white hoodie jumping into straw... as though a Vetinari expy wouldn't have mined every conspicuous bale of hay for a hundred miles!

Fishing gang? Old news fam, welcome to the whaling gang. Here's your harpoon 'n your will, now start scannin' the horizon. Anywho, we can totes take this thing and it'll be hella cool to watch it happen, so~

I don't care much for morality anyways.
In fairness, you would be entirely right to accuse me of putting far higher value on the welfare of people who are Hunger's official subjects than on the welfare of people who aren't.

[X] The Lord of Stalks

I'm willing to embrace Hunger's role as a curse bearer. It will be good preparation for when we get to the Human Sphere and personally instigate an interstellar war for our own personal benefit.

A very good example of the powers of Progression. 70% Apocryphal boosted Rotbeast was a pretty intense fight with 3 picks and chances of death. 80% Ber, on the other hand, might not even be worth 1 pick despite originally being a much bigger deal and getting a bigger boost, and we're currently setting out to fight a formerly 5-pick enemy like Lucent Thorn would be. This is a very good showing of why delayed fights are almost always better than current ones, and I think if we ever get to choose for Apo-chan again, we should choose the former rather than latter.

so something thats been on my mind that hasn't been answered.

Can Gisenia mentor Letzritza and Aiera in magic? i've seen people talk about her having them as pupils but no real confirmation she can teach them magic.

What would she teach them? nullity magic? Artifact creation? something else? Not sure where the idea to have her mentor the girls came from but if that is the case then i would be all for leaving the girls in the human sphere where they can be safe while Hunger and Auroboro do hero's journey shit and face of against creatures that can end worlds.

There's a big difference, to me, between killing someone because you're cursed to do so otherwise you'll die and killing someone because it's more convenient to you personally.

What's Stalk guy's crime here exactly? He's a jerk in his personal life but is otherwise righteous? Any of his tyranny is explicitly just 'petty' and while that may be unpleasant to be around in a personal context that's not something you are supposed to put a ruler to the sword for when they're otherwise doing a bang up job.

People are talking about 'defining Hunger's characteristics into the far future' but honestly I'd much rather Hunger has the mindset of 'get 3 EFBs and then do a 3 pick fight' or 'borrow magic from a place you already own, pay them back soon after' as opposed to 'kill a guy and destabilize a free and happy society because it was easier' going forward.

We could get Lunar Coronet. Try reinvigorating the water with Edeldross infused blood? We'd have to get back there first. That or crash a findross meteor that makes elixir people start coalescing to make up for it. Whether or not we'll be in a position to do so is still a valid question though.

[X] The Armament Fish

We're bound for the human sphere, armaments aplenty there just waiting for someone to shank their operator and make off with if we really feel the lack.

Meanwhile the days we roamed the land of picks and honey are long behind us. Best to take them where we can. Might even be able to use the carcass to replace some of the unhealable parts on Verschle. Use every part of the whale.

I placed my faith on the duck for the sake of an interesting vote, and a (attempted) strategem of boosting a vote option into (almost) consolidation certainly qualifies!
Like a duck to water, Hunger must quackly learn how to tax his peoples rarest resource, to (perhaps) adequately benefit them later on!

Taking tribute from the Waters our Territories occupy is simply our only choice, yes?

(or perhaps even greater plans yet lie forgotten, floating on the surface of the Great Pond still...)
