Time was of the essence; once he went through with the full absorption, they would have to act swiftly to dispatch Curse and adversary both lest the humanitarian cost become unmanageable.
And, it is only under such dire conditions that your strength can truly flourish! Perhaps that's the very nature of Hunger.
[X] The Armament Fish
If it's a choice between personal risk and sacrificing the prosperity of the people, it's really no choice at all, is it?
I can see Hunger taking Territorial Waters while solemnly promising to make it up to his citizens, but I can't imagine him taking The Lord of Stalks.
Since we die in a single hit, Silver is of outsized usefulness in this fight compared to any other. But for the same reason, Apo-chan doesn't have to do any powerup shenanigans, just flip a switch- but wait, it could do that even at lower power. So save it for the fight, I think. The question is, do we wish to spend our perfect defence mitigating the Apocryphal Curse to make the fight safer and more predictable, or keep it handy to block one of the fishes attacks?
All-Defeating Stance, ofc. That isn't a fair comparison. If we do end up going after the fish what would be most useful against it, Monster-Defeating Stance or All-Defeating Stance?
If we do end up going after the fish what would be most useful against it, Monster-Defeating Stance or All-Defeating Stance?
The extra ruin doesn't help much if we're relying primarily on Thorn to do damage. What we want for this fight is more Agi, I think. But we don't know exactly what MoDS does, hm. But unless it's amazing, I doubt it can compare to an EFB even if it is incredibly specialized. If we do end up going after the fish what would be most useful against it, Monster-Defeating Stance or All-Defeating Stance?
MoDS has to do a little more than that, since the 2-Arete option... uh, was it called Titanfall? took care of the Ruin bits.All-Defeating; Monster-defeating just spikes Ruin DPS, IIRC, while ADS does that and turns Ruin into another layer of pretty absurd protection.
This will reduce the power of the Springs to slightly below their Rotbeast-affected levels, and see the Springs depleted in roughly fifty-five years, but that's essentially just a return to the status quo for the people of the Kingdom...
