Flying True: An ATLA AU Nonbender Quest

[X] Plan Yuyan Archer

There aren't enough cool nonbender characters in Avatar. Magic might be awesome, but defeating someone without magic is even more awesome.

This makes me think of my avater ck2 playthrough in the timeline when all nations where not united like they were in the show/the games cannon timeline.

I went in as an air nomad, and she gained the flight ability like he did.
Yeah, Guru Laghima advocated abandoning all earthly tethers. Nothing in this world truely matters so do not become attached to anything and transcend all mortal woes. Hedonism is all about CELEBRATING your earthly tethers. Nothing truely matters so don't worry about anything and persue the greatest pleasure.

Well in this timeline, it's based off of a timeline where, after Kyoshi died, everything went down hill in my game

Earth Kingdom got 0 imperial Authority and collapsed, Water tribes started raiding the coasts and the Fire nation failed to unify.

There is only war... and that's what inspired this Interregnum choice. Everything sucks, there is only war, and only the Avatar can save it.
Also understandable as I had gone in as a vassal under the eastern air nomads, trying to take my time working to the top each generation once died and had loyal family and kin in the other temples.

After living long enough that their only living heir was the great granddaughter, so ancient even by avatar standards, I could see someone becoming able to abandon everything. (I think there might not of been assasinations, just that all children and grandchildren died of old age.)

The world you made here looks !fun! To jump into.

I'm not exactly planning on Archer Boy to be much a techie, I'd rather double down on being a archer-rogue and let someone else handle the tech, but maybe that can be a side specialization. I guess we can see how the DM wants to handle our "Skill Points".
Well... you have a few skills.

Combat. Diplomacy. Command/Martial. Stewardship/Administration, Intrigue. Learning/Spirituality and your traits.

Who you're parents are will dictate your education, and traits, along with your occupation, if you have one, or your starting location.

They are not going to be skill point-based, more... ability through training and experience.

I would like to do a plan for a waterbender but i cant right now, not in the pc. If there is one for a waterbender call it Greatest Waterbender in the world

Let the nonbenders take the stage for now and help Aang bring peace to the world hope we get the entire cast with the non going to be villains with us for the journey

There a lot of villians, and a lot of heroes if you join Aang and crew... But that might not happen, and you'll be the hero of you're own story.

Even if they aren't explicitly broken down into points, they pretty much are points. The poitns representing "training and experience", of which we only got so much and must distribute.

But what I meant was, how you have us vote our specialties could require us to spread out some.
A vote of
[] Primary Specialty :
[] Secondary Specialty :
Would rather let us to branch out far more easily with less percieved loss at our primary thing than
[] What did your Dad Do
[] What did your Mom Do
Because with something like that, if we did "Archer" for both of them we presumably would be a better archer than if only one was an archer and one was a engineer.

I want to join Aang so we can help him with his journey which is even going to harder then It was going to be in a situation like the stress will be very great like nervous breakdown great then the situation with the fire nation

We can do that with just about any build. Though if we want to find him early on, we'd probably have to go South Pole (assuming the DM doesn't just sling him somewhere else in the world).

That said, I'm curious how the Air Nomads being alive will effect things on his end. Everyone HE knew was dead (unless they went and become a Guru), but his PEOPLE aren't. But his People, groups of them anyway, have adopted teachings that wildly conflict with what he was taught.

Believe me, I have everything all planned out and it will make sense.

Well, it won't take that long if you want that. Belive me. Destiny is a funny thing.

...

do you want him to be slung somewhere else in the world? Because everything has gone insane already, what's Aangs starting location changing going to make a difference?
Also those that are alive will carry deep grudges for his exile because they depended on him to bring peace to the world
Oh yes... that's something I'm going to be waiting for.

If people are making at least one for each element and non-element, someone should at least make an airbender option for balance.

How will you deal with letting us see the unique perspective of the Gaang to everyone being broken if we opt not to join them?

I'm thinking a daughter of some pirate, someone that may have a bit more of a wider perspective on the chaos, we could use that I think, and the Eastern Set-up is interesting to me at least, and perfect for setting-up a stronghold if we get a fair number of boats.

I do like the Yuyan Archer though, but maybe its my love of Sokka that makes me interested just a bit more in a character that uses cunning and perhaps some charisma more so than straight combat skill like the Archer plan points towards. And also the image grabbed me, so I felt like making a plan with it.
