    -[X]Interregnum: There was so much that went wrong when Kyoshi died. She left a world without avatar at it's most crucial point… when governments changed, and identities were forged. Roku could only do so much before everything became chaotic. And once the Avatar disappeared from the Air Nomads… it got progressively worse. Now there are a thousand bushfires and wars all over the world, and no Avatar to keep the peace.

Order was restored. But ambitions were not checked. The Earth King realized he wielded incredible power. And no one to stop him... So the World bleeds.

Summed up, are looking like this. At the time of this post at least.
1. Someone New / The Chains Of Fate --> 7

And some loose non-plan format votes.
 
Since there really isn't any interest in my plan, I'll change my vote. Ultimately I think having something different than straight canon is nice, though I'm not sure if I'm keener towards scenario or character as the divergence.

The benefits of a canon character in a new scenario are we have a sort of basis of the character to work off of and we get to see how the character has changed due to the scenario. Zuko's almost certainly not burned... and Iroh may even be Firelord.

The benefits of a new character in the canon scenario are fairly obvious we know how things vaguely work but we get to directly be the new cog that changes things maybe we change up one of the main group, maybe we become a new member, maybe we are completely separate doing something on our own in this massive war. These are interesting certainly.

However, as I write out these thoughts I become a bit concerned with the idea that we'll end up using foreknowledge in the canon scenario; now such is easily enough ignored and not given opportunity to provide actionable merit, but its certainly there and even inadvertently hard to ignore, so I think I prefer a new scenario ultimately.

While I did hope that people would vote for change, I was prepared to make it... well canon complient.

But each different War Scenario changes the world... greatly.

And of course, the charecters we know and love will be... changed.

Depending on the Scenario... The Fire Nation... or rather the archipelago that make up the fire nation... is... well...

different. and i will leave it at that.

Same for the earth kingdom and Water Tribe, even the air nomads.

Yeah, and I'm interested in what you'd decide had properly changed in each group in a given scenario. I was very briefly stating a potential idea.

I was thinking in the 'Evil Water Tribe' scenario, Sokka and Katara would switch places with Zuko and Azula.
