Doom of the Tyrant can't proc if there's no civilization to proc it! 
We have invested heavily in charisma, with Gisena's help we're about as prepared as someone with the Doom could possibly be to interact with civilization. Call it a trial run for the Human Sphere.

If you didn't like Seven Seals, we could see what other magic systems are out there we can be initiated into(Ordinalism, Vitalism, Battle Mastery, non Heaven Shattering version of Outer Sorcery, etc), maybe initiate Gisena or Letrezia into Accretion, possibly even repair the Giant Robot. The right synergy can explosively upgrade our progression.
But it also likely gets us Rank, doesn't it? And Arete production is much easier in such exciting circumstances.

On the one hand, dungeon-delving without a white mage. On the other, Apocryphal mitigation. Screw the rewards, that insight alone is worth the danger.
The pick is in case we have to bail on the dungeon before completing it. Losing power-ups to caution sucks, but with a free slot we might not feel as compelled to get ourselves killed.

Though, going by the example of Ber and Seralize, you're not there yet! Especially for the type of cosmopolitan city-state you'll be aiming for. That said, gaining access to even one viable and synergistic magic system could massively increase your rate of progression...

More seriously, it's probably underwater or something, since the ink dissipated in the air and the message was found inside the King Fish.
