We'd also be preparing for the Hakkari during those extra 5/6 more months. And our home territory has a resource advantage. It takes 2 Turns to purge the Kobolds. If we wait and take it another turn, thats 5/6 more months that the Hakkari have to prepare, Its gunna take an Action to send our forces into Black Marsh regardless, so we can do the Armor Up the same turn since it only takes 1 Turn.
I'm well aware of how the Tattoos work, Zul'jo knows how the Tattoos work, he's asking for them anyway because he thinks this fight is that important. I'll trust him to only activate them in a emergency, and with the Loa's Blessing on the action, it has a 85% chance of the tattoos being inscribed correctly.
The gamble is how much they've glutted Hakkar on sacrifices.
Zul'jo knows what the Tattoos do yes. And he wants the Tattoos because he trusts Jojo to not fuck up the Tattoos.
This does not mean Zul'jo recognizes the opportunity cost of Golems vs Tattoos or has a clear Cost/Benefit overview of Tattoos vs Golems. Because Zul'jo is not a Witch Doctor.
And again, Golems>Training if it comes down to it. Get some heavies to tank for Jojo so the Witch Doctor can work more of his magic.
You know? It just might speed up the removal of Kobolds. Or it might just bump up the success chance so a low roll is less likely to delay our efforts by a turn. Because we'd have a better army and more accurate information on where the Kobold settlements are located, making it easier to clear a route to the Black Morass. No, we should rush forwards. If we delay, that's more time for the At'ai to get ready for us, and less time for the players to move into the swamp. We are not even at the swamp. We are at the mountains, and if the mountains is purged of Kobolds that according to the reward grants energy to the Loa when we finish. Even then a Intrigue action is unlikely to speed up the removal of the Kobolds unless you can have it done in one turn? Which can't be done, and will be dragged into two or three turns if the Kobolds are not anihilated?
