The Raid Miniturn 3:
-[X]Raid: You are going to lead your men into battle as a raider, taking small villages and fisher towns, to make a profit. (This is operating under the Vikings usual MO, go to the town, capture or kill inhabitants, and take the loot. There is a lower DC of getting discovered, but a low risk of being killed, or losing people unless the objective is Medium difficulty or higher.)
The men were gathered and you were ready. It seems that, as the owner of the ship, and the man who was basically funding this expedition, with both food and coin, it was obvious that you would lead the raid to shore.
And you made landfall in record time, with dozens of hands preparing to march in the mainland and make a fortune.
All except a few who were guarding the ship…
Including one very angry boy. "You promised me I would be able to join the raid!" He exclaimed.
"Aye, and you are… you are on a raid, guarding the ship." You replied coldly. You were not going to risk his life in battle. He was not ready for it. Even if he were, he didn't prove himself to you yet. You wished to see him grow… not see his face in the mud, dead.
"But-" Elric protested.
But your glare silenced him. "Enough!" You then pointed to the ship. "You will guard the ship. You will stay here, with Koll. Understood?"
Elric sighed. "Yes, brother." He then marched back to the ship.
"Good." You replied.
It was the first raid you were in command… you needed it to be perfect, otherwise, men would die. And their blood would be on your hands.

Ulster Detection Roll:
1D100 => 65+24 (Martial skill)=89 vs 40 (You are not detected, and there will be little to no resistance as you raid the Monastery)
You moved by starlight and the night sky. The whole company of men you had was… not expecting to move at night, and their rumblings were heard.
But you did not care. This raid was about making money, not about going to Valhalla. There would be plenty of time to make such grand gestures later.
You certainly had plenty of years to do such a thing… if Hel didn't decide to reveal itself onto this earth and drown you with the dead.
But your plans worked. The patrols from the local castles, the militia's from villages and hamlets were nothing to you, you just escaped, shrouded in the misty haze of the night air.
They did not see you. And you did not see them.
Soon you arrived at the monastery, a day later than you wanted to be, on the Christian Sunday. A day where the monks and priests and abbots would be at mass.
Off guard, and quiet, praying to their God.
Perfect.
-[X]Monostary: (Potential to gain slaves, books of knowledge, artifacts, money, valuable goods. ???) Risk: Medium.
Detection Roll:
1D100 => 7
As you crept closer, you could hear the prayers of the Latin chants that the monks prayed too. But there was no sentry on the walls. No guard.
All the men were there praying to their God.
Not even noticing the men who quietly walked into the monastery.
Who quietly came into the door.
And quietly knocked on the wood… and stopping the chant.
"Good day men of God." You said sarcastically. "You are now our prisoners… Try to resist, and I will kill you all."
You twirled your ax and you men banged on the shield. "If you remain meek and civil and obedient… this will be quick and painless. If not… well, you already know the tales."
The men seemed to understand you, if not from your words, then from the arms you carried.
The Abbot, the leader of the monastery you think was called, walked forward. He spoke your tongue. "Child, please, do not do-"
You smiled and slapped him, sending the old man onto the floor. "Strip everything of Value!" You then looked to the Abbot. "And you father… you are going to tell me where all the churches gold is!"

The loot was as expected of a monastery. A quiet location of potential slaves, golden relics and some gold from penitent sinners and locals.

"Alright lads, good, now let's move." You replied.
