Sigh. Fuck it. I'll make a competing vote this late.
If you really want to make it competitive, I'd try and convince Rabbit to hold a... something between a recount and a runoff. The vote is going to determine, even more than the last dozen or so updates, how the quest runs down. If there was a time to change things up and play open-handed, tell people in detailed specifics the votes would entail and the broader course of the final chapters, now's the time. But maybe Rabbit doesn't want to do that. Your choice to try and make something happen.
I disagree? Talking gives us a chance to take what little initiative we have to try and fix things. That's not the QM handing us a solution, that's us navigating our own way to a solution that already existed.

I don't know why you keep framing this like we'd be throwing ourselves upon Rabbit's mercy by speaking up...
I think you got your verbiage confused at some point. I'm campaigning for the plan to speak up, and saying the plan for silence is either a bad end or something worse being deceptively softballed by its advocates.
*Audibly sweats*

I'm pretty sure my Google Doc is set on private.
*points to the Rabbit* See? Keep Silent is just all bad.

I feel like staying silent is abandoning Rider to Minerva's mercy. If Minerva is smart, and she seems to be, she's not going to bother pretending to be us. She'll just leave the city to be destroyed (or not destroyed, but either way leave) and quite possibly kill Rider to tie up lose ends.

Also what Rabbit said. And please don't split the vote at this point.

-[X] Summon Aegis as soon as possible to try and survive Carmilla.

Guess I messed up on the execution part. Box would have been nice.

Oh well. Good chapter, let's try to fix this.

Do we have access to mystic codes in this body or not, because we can extend time at least with one of them

I'm still new to this, so I hope this isn't too long, but to the best of my understanding the current options are:

[] Keep quiet.

Pros: No rash moves. Carmilla less likely to finish us off. Unlikely to quickly worsen the situation(besides still dying from wounds). Avoiding giving the kill order for the old body. Chance to surprise Minerva/other enemies.

Cons: Current body still dying. We lose initiative to the enemy. Lose a chance to ensure Medb's safety. No control over what happens with Berserker Cu. Relying on QM generosity/chance/ally intelligence or abilities to hope things work out.

Overall, not terrible. But not good, as we're flying close to the flame here.

-[]"Cu Chulainn! By my command Seal, I summon you to my side to kill! Kill Minerva! Kill the Doll who stole my body!"
-[]Look at Carmella. "If you tell Ruler right away to save Medb and prevent her from dying when Minerva does, I'll fight you right away."

Pros: Stopping Cu from fighting allies any more. Chance to kill Minerva. Assuming Carmella is convinced, very slight chance we do some kind of useful action while Carmella informs Ruler. If that goes through, Medb has some measure of safety.

Cons: High chance of permanently losing the real body. Cu's going to be limited by our dying/mana capacity, and Minerva has strong spells+Gae Bolg to use. Decent chance of Carmella offing us in our weakened state. Increased risk of being thwarted/attacked by our own allies. Higher chance Minerva uses her command seal to do something tragic to us/Medb.

Overall, this is the double down, keep attacking strategy to try to salvage things. Accepting the loss/near-total destruction of our old body.

-[X] Summon Aegis as soon as possible to try and survive Carmilla.

Pros: Less chance to destroy our real body. Smaller chance to actually recover our old body. Stopping Cu/chance to protect Medb from Minerva. Not giving initiative to the enemy.

Cons: Cu's still limited by our dying/ mana capacity, and Minerva still has enough to probably stall for our allies. Really risking getting offed by Carmella. Increased risk of being thwarted/attacked by our own allies. Higher chance Minerva flexes her command seal to do something tragic to us/Medb.

Overall, highest risk, high reward. Aiming for the best possible route where we beat Minerva, protect Medb, and not die AND get our body back. The possible risks being failing at everything and dying, or ending up as Hans' personal slave or something.

I'm just hoping for the best, here. Safe to say I'm invested in Brie and Medb and all our allies.

Also let me know if I shouldn't do long replies, this is probably way too much.

Just to be clear on the situation:

  1. Minerva swapped bodies with Brie
  2. Brie is now dying because Minerva's body got fucked from the fight
  3. Minerva fled the scene with Brie's body
  4. Carmilla arrives on the scene, lamenting she missed the fight

So yeah, keeping quiet isn't an option because no one knows Brie's body has Minerva in it now, but it also means revealing ourselves to Carmilla who wants to do stabby time with Brie.

Well, we do have confirmation from the QM what it results in. Lancer's absence from the battle seemed a little convenient. And with his Warp-Spasm gone Cu is more lucid. He'll run. He'll get us, but instead of going after Minerva or Ruler he'll go to Hans. We'll be his puppet again.

Speaking of Hans, Brie's original body has Hans' core right? The one that orders you to not die?

... I think the programming Hans put in got purged by the Minerva Dolls, but I only remember specifically the one about not harming Hans. It's 2:30, I'm almost done for the night, I can't quite recall.

Just a reminder this is where votes currently stand. I'll close it later.

We can't keep quiet, and Carmilla's still a threat. Calling Cu is our immediate option right now.

Yeah I'm actually okay with either of the Cu options, with a slight preference to just killing her to be safe, but staying quiet is absolutely not an option.

Well it technically is, but I don't see things turning out any definition of well if we do.

...won't killing Minerva in our body also get rid of rider too guy?
She'll have a bit of time, in which someone can contract her.

... is that meant to imply that even if Carmilla agreed, Medb would still die before the messaged could be delivered? Because the choice is either we hope Cu's willing to do non-lethal takedowns without an order in spite of all characterization or we put our hopes in Carmilla's pragmatism.
