Chuckles. Can we smooch her for good measure?

1) revel in the sheer fact that we have emotions now. 2) shipping ho. 3) we need Ruler headpats

I can't believe those words gave me disappointment.

I was really excited at first because I thought this Shirou is the one who ended up with Luvia instead with the usual FSN main heroines.

Luvia also gets the short end of the stick despite having potential to be best girl.

She's one of those Ojou-sama characters with an amusing laugh.
I sort of agree with this. When I first read Luvia saying she was Shirou's "wife-to-be", I too was also thinking that perhaps Luvia & Shirou had hooked up.

Heck, considering her family's mercenary reputation (and her own thing for travelling to places to collect stuff), Luvia would really work well with Shirou as a partner.

And it would be an interesting thing to see how a middle-class to maybe upper middle-class man is dealing with being engaged with a genuine aristocrat. Like I get the feeling Luvia is the type who always wears outfits that are eye-poppingly expensive, considering how much Gray mentions her nightwear and other clothes look super expensive. And with Shirou being from more humble origins, that would be something he has to adjust for in his new life.

Heck, had Rin been able to prevent Kotomine from selling off any property, we could've seen hints of that with her and Shirou as well, considering the Tohsaka were pretty rich (and still sort of are if one ignores the fact Rin doesn't have much liquid assets to use since most of that goes into Gem magecraft).

Personally I find Luvia abrasive and irritating. I don't dislike her, but given the choice between her and Rin, I'd pick Rin 100% of the time.

I didn't start liking Luvia until I saw Case Files and what she was like without Rin. Their basic joke, "Ojou-sama and tsundere always fight over Shirou," can only be told so many times before it stops being funny.

Is it me or are there more voters than before?

IDK, but hopefully this means more people will contribute and not just bandwagon.
(though I admit, it's not like I contribute much anyway so I really shouldn't comment.

I agree, it would be nice for a story that explores Sherou and Luvia's relationship (other than harem fics, and yes, I know I misspelt Shirou's name)

[] Get up and hug Rider. Don't let go. It was scary.

Taking Ruler's handkerchief, you placed it down your side before you got up. You moved towards your Servant before you wrapped your arms around her in a hug. Medb let out a panicked squeak at this before her entire body went rigid as you sobbed onto her chest. Rider's mouth flapped open and close as she looked at Ruler giving her a hard look.

Rider sought to find her composure before she felt that you were starting to tremble. Keeping you steady, she sighed heavily before stroking the back of your head with her hand. Medb made you sit on your bedside as she had to deal with you being attached to her for the time being.

"Right, right... It's going to be fine, okay? What the heck are you thinking using a Queen as a teddy bear?" Rider joked as she hugged you back, "It's okay, you can tell us what happened."

"Dream Cycle," you breathed as you held on to her, "Saw something I feel I shouldn't have. It felt too real."

Rider winced at that before she replied, "Right. But really there shouldn't be anything scary in my life! Well not unless you saw Fergus doing his thing. You didn't see that right?"

"I saw Cu Chulainn as a monster," you admitted as you raised your head, "You were at war or something and that man was a monster you were allied with."

Rider's eyes widened before she glanced at Ruler. Ruler blinked before shaking her head. Medb then turned her gaze back to you and asked, "Cu-chan..?"

"Yes. His form was twisted. His legs were like that of a beast, his tail was barbed and his body was monstrous. He held a crimson spear and had a tattoo on his chest," you recalled the figure of the monster that haunted your memories.

You couldn't beat that. There's no way you could beat that.

Ruler's eyes widened before she got up, "Were his eyes covered?"

"Covered? No. I... They looked at me as if he knew I was there," you recalled as you let out a shaky breath.

Ruler paled before she stepped back, "Oh no. Oh no... Kotomine. Sorry, I have to go. Rider, make sure she's okay."

Rider's face was also grave as she held you, "I see. I think I get it."

"You do?" You frowned.

"It's just a guess and I don't really know much about it. You need to talk to a proper Mage if you want the nitty gritty but you're probably not just accessing my memories when you Dream. We're too compatible so to speak which ends up displacing your entire consciousness to memories I shouldn't even have," Rider said as she held your shoulders, "But hey, I figured I'd find it funny if you saw my life but now that it'll just make you sad I don't know anymore. I didn't mean to scare you like that."

"Even when I'm asleep you're nothing but trouble," you said with a shaky breath before you sniffled and pulled away from her, "Sorry I just thought I was going to die."

"You're just pathetic..." Medb shrugged with a low chuckle.

"I was scared because I knew you wouldn't save me back then. That if that monstrous Cu Chulainn attacked me, you wouldn't-" you continued only to be silenced by a finger on your lips.

"Look here, little girl. Right now you're my partner in crime! Get this through your thick head and know that I'll always come for you! If I abandoned you, Scathach's never going to let me live it down," Medb said before she held both your shoulders with a fierce expression, "Even if it I was against that other me or Cu-chan, I'd still raise an Army for you, got it? I fought Ulster for two bulls! I'd fight this continent if it meant getting you! You're my Master, weren't you going to help me get the Grail?"

"I am," you replied with a nod. You stared at her as she cracked a smile at your response.

"Good," Medb huffed with a satisfied look. She then added, "So... What was the other me doing with Cu-chan?"

"You were using him as some sort of throne and being all lovey dovey, it makes me sick," you said as you felt a bitter taste in your mouth, "Bunch of normies..."

"What?!" Medb shrieked as she shot up to her feet before biting her finger, "Dammit, I wish that was me. I want my own Cu Throne!"

"Should've asked Carmilla for a spiked chair then," you sighed before you turned her way, "What's up with Ruler?"

"Oh... It's nothing. Probably Ruler stuff," Medb said as she looked to the side. She didn't seem so sure when she said that.

"Yes well there's been sightings of a Servant by the port. Ruler was just talking about that earlier. It was probably Lancer judging by the description chasing something... Really fast," Rider said as she crossed her arms, "Ruler has the ability to discern our True Names. She probably knows who those two were and is concerned enough to go running to the Priest."

"Lancer and another Servant... It's not Scathach isn't it?" You frowned her way.

"That old Hag won't move not unless she absolutely needs to. Plus she's not a Heroic Spirit either, but I have little doubts she could walk up to us both and beat us up," Medb said with a shudder, "We should be careful now... Especially when we're exposed like this."

"Right. Let's go to the station tomorrow. For now, do we have a place to stay?" You asked her with a raised eyebrow.

"Yup. What did you think I was doing last night?" Medb huffed as she crossed her arms. She had a confident smile on her face before she winked at you.

You were in another safehouse on the northern part of the city. It was near City Hall owned by a pretty rich bachelor Medb lured and charmed. It was a secure place and you made sure you weren't followed as you made your way here. You didn't manage to say goodbye to Ruler and Kotomine but you figured that they were going to be busy.

You sat before the television and read through reports on news sites in your phone. There hasn't been news regarding the two Servants the previous night and not only that Caster has been deathly silent. You don't like them being silent when you're the most vulnerable Master of all in this war.

"Brie! Look at these!" Medb laughed as she slid to a halt before you with a colorful box, "It's ripe for the taking!"

"You shouldn't take presents that aren't yours, dummy," you said as you kept reading reports.

"Bah, you're no fun. It's Christmas! Well there's 15 days left but you should be in a more festive mood. It's probably why the others are so quiet these days," Medb said as she leaned on the back of your chair.

"There's a war going on and I'm scared Caster will just pop out of nowhere and get me in my sleep," you sighed before you turned her way, "Did you know? Emiya was possessed by a Caster and made him walk half way across town on his first war?"

"Well maybe she fancied him. He is a pretty good guy," Medb snickered before you tossed a pillow at her face.

"Funny," you griped as you sighed.

"So what are we doing tonight?" Medb asked you as she crossed her arms.

[] There's a restaurant at the bottom of the apartment. You could grab a bite there. You want good food.
[] Hunker down the apartment and see if any Servants fight. Caster's not going to keep quiet for long.
[] Get some rest. You're too high strung from everything happening to you. You're gonna break if you don't relax.
[] Plan out for tomorrow. Investigate the port where the two Servants were spotted and see if you find anything.

We've been through the wringer, I think a bit of comfort food is in order.

When did Shirou tell Brie about his War?

A reference to the potential Caster route that was cut, and the fact canonically he would hit Medea's buttons hard? :p
