A Game of Crowns (Mafia)

[X] Null
[X] Lynch Happerry

I decided to plop that down immediately so Pyrros could swap without tying. Apparently meso had the same problems

Now to finish the rationale.

I think Absum is making an honest roleclaim, I don't think leaving him alive for a day is a big threat, and I'm deeply skeptical of Nictis' analysis of the game state.

On the other hand, I don't have any idea why anyone has been townreading Happerry.
Considering I am neither that highly rating either you or meso at the moment, your sudden support is making me feel like I am making yet another mistake.

We're likely already done for or in MYLO. Going all in on Absum is the only way I see out of this.

This is backwards? If I'm scum you delay killing me one Day but are not actually yet at risk of losing. If I'm town lynching me means the gmae is literally over (assuming Nictis claim is true).

If Nictis and Evenstar are what they claim to be, lynching the potential doctor is stupid.
If they are not what they claim to be and this is one large gambit, their advice will lead us astray.

Well, not much I can do about that.

I strongly still beleive we lose if nicyis fies. Him saying he doesn't think that because of his 'investigations' doesn't travk with me because it's been spelled out.

Happerry died and I'm an hour late saying as much. See, this is why I gave myself a two hour margin between night and day.
@Happerry make your speech whenever you're ready.

Dusk of the Third Day
The crowd advances on @Happerry , who draws his ceremonial saber and makes a valiant attempt at defending himself, despite the fact that A) the blade is nearly blunt, and B) he clearly isn't familiar with using the thing. Still, he manages to draw blood off one of his attackers before going down, which is impressive given most of them are wearing armor of some kind.

The Veil's effects fade from the corpse, revealing the face of one Jason Von Vorhees, minor noble of the Kingdom of Merovin. Not the hoped-for silver bolt, though, and so the crowd disperses in displeasure for the night.

Night 3 begins. Night ends at:

Well, I died as I spent this game, in ignorance. I suppose going 'screw it, I have not been able to focus all this day period and now I just have another headache, time to go to bed' wasn't the best choice, but I wasn't expecting to die like that. Oh well, at least I wasn't important, role wise. Hopefully my death proves more useful to the town then to the scum.

Also, with the name Jason Von Vorhees, I hope people understand what I meant when I said I had an unfortunate name.

Dawn of the Fourth Day
The first corpse of the day is that of @Absum , found folded in half on the floor of the hallway outside her quarters. While Dame Margaret Dewalt was once a knight of the Kingdom of Merovin, she had spent the last few years acting as a physician, which would perhaps have proved useful in identifying the cause of death for the score of Reiman soldiers who seem to have simply gone to sleep and never woken back up.

As it is, hints of desperation start to tinge the crowd as they search for their next target.

Day 4 begins. Day ends at:

So its basically kill scum roleblocker or lose?

Myself, 1k, and Cyric being on Absum lynch is a pretty big detriment against us lets keep that in mind.

Though the lynch of Happerry I personally didn't like, I would've much much preferred the Ban lynch, who I still think is scum, so I'm going to start there for now.

I don't think going for an all or nothing play is a detriment against me. We've potentially already lost, and doc was an easy claim for a scum team wanting to get a flawless game.

oh right, scum know absum's not scum. I'm dumb. Yeah, there's probably at least one scum on that lynch.

Alright. Why am I scum? I haven't gotten a good answer to that from you or honestly anyone, so please explain how this isn't just you taking a player that a lot of people have scumleaned as a scapegoat - especially considering how many people have scumread you, and you being on the Absum lynch.

...this is probably NAI, but please explain why you funnied that? @ComiTurtle

I want others opinions on this, but since we're apparently in a position where we lose this night phase, why wouldn't we force everyone to be as open as possible?

I'd suggest with this strategy that we create and ordered list where people need to role claim, because wild claiming outside of a given order is likely to result in scum gaining quality fake-claiming positioning. If we force individuals to respond in an order they are in a more dicey position and less likely to have more room for making a mistake in such claims.

You are strong enough to have been able to see just how obviously connected Nictis and Evenstar were, and pushed them at the beginning of last phase, in ways that gave you safe distance from both lynches, you've been away most end of day phases which is somewhat convenient for scum because they are not in any hard spaces (Though very very easily can just be the way that things fall scheduling wise. Especially with the subject of midterms)

The funny react is because this is 100% how I'd expect scum to respond, with instantly trying to discredit their attacker for being scum and "being on the Absum lynch." I was very clearly preferring your lynch over Absum, and I just had a stronger town read in Happerry. This is blatant scum discrediting and only makes my read of you stronger.

Mergle. I'm tired, and will do a lot o read throughs later. I think I've learned my lesson not to post seriously when tired from last night.

In the meantime, consider my initial probable vote on ComiTurtle until I read through stuff and think, and could I ask someone to make an update to the playerlist for me?
