I am entirely incapable of voting in this. I take a look at this and read everything every few months because the story is good and the writing quality is very high, but I can't even read the votes without getting sad :D

I mean, it's not though. All the choices are framed in the negative, if you look. It's not an actual positive choice, like "the inner and outer forces join up sucessfully", it's "they don't take high casualties doing so." The strong implication is that if you don't pick it, the Bad Thing happens.

Somewhat depressingly, this is still voting which bad consequences you want to avoid.
(Am reminded of the equally depressing Choppers Gang move in Apocalypse World.)

Like I said, I'm going for an actual strategic victory even if it comes at the cost of a personal loss.

I think the successful counteroffensive is important. The other options are all things we might be able to turn into results next vote, but the counteroffensive is results now. It'll keep pressure on the enemy, make sure we're not entirely ceding the initiative to them next update.

This way, all the fleets are suffering something. Also, don't want to lose all our mechs before the end.

I would really prefer for Gloriana to survive, she definitely deserves at least somewhat of a bittersweet, if not happy, ending.
Deciding between the enemy not regaining their coordination and the counter offensive succeeding is far harder, but I feel a strong blow like this should hopefully help break their offensive rather than merely delay them a little more.

Compared to the Inner Fleet failing or the Outer Fleet getting savaged, the prospect of the Divine Navy reestablishing some order is hardly the worst outcome. Why we would vote to wreck both of our defending fleets, unless the goal is simply to have more chaos and carnage?

If the goal is to preserve Gloriana, there are better options. We don't need to bandwagon on the plan that leaves the defenders in a perilous state.
