That's part of the bookwork I'm going to be doing today.@Hangwind, first off, will we get to see the loadout of Canister Drones like we did the initial 3, or is that another thing we'll have to piece together? Secondly, to clarify what the scout was reporting, is he saying that there's a unicorn in the swamp as well, but it's dead and being controlled by whatever is controlling the rest of the zombies? Thirdly, when will we be able to do stuff at the ship that isn't deciding our next expedition?
No, you were right the first time.
All this paranoia, and there turns out to be friendly seals up north! They tell us we could have gone to them for help first, and proceed to show that they have higher tech levels than we could dream of (not that us drones dream).[X] {Riot} Scout Drone
[X] {Group} North (Unexplored)
I bet there's seals up north. For some reason they always live up north.
And me without a club.I bet there's seals up north. For some reason they always live up north.
Well you gotta be a cutter drone to get up close to club 'em, silly!
Unfortunately, we need an appropriate drone spread more than we need me to club some baby seals.Well you gotta be a cutter drone to get up close to club 'em, silly!
Don't worry, we'll harvest wax from them. Then they'll really be seals.Unfortunately, we need an appropriate drone spread more than we need me to club some baby seals. One of these days seals, one of these days.
THE PLASMA WILL FLOW![X] {Riot} Battery Drone

Oh, a-plasma shunting we will go, doo-dah, doo-dah..
That's alright Hangwind, we love you regardless.MUST...NOT...GIVE...SPOILERS...
I love discussing lore and being a QM makes that impossible, as I have access to lore that you just don't, and can't if I want this to be a fun game. It is remarkably difficult to not do that sometimes though.
For reference, I really want to explain how Oceans=Hell, but that would be spoilers for a few things. (I'm only willing to tell you that much because that's a super common piece of information that you are almost certain to stumble across at some point unless you specifically avoid it.)
I'd assume the basic chassis are at least partially water-resistant, given how being soaked by mud / swamp water didn't break anybody. Also, on oceans=hell, I would imagine something that rusts your outer layer and short circuits your innards as soon as you are immersed in it would be pretty much hell for machines.
Especially since we don't have aquatic chassis yet.
