Yay update! And yay, our girlfriend did not accidentally shoot a civilian target!

One thing that worries me about the morale vote is what exactly would cause that grievous blow. The only thing I can think of that doesn't also count as a substantial loss of forces is if we suffer mass civilian casualties and/or one of the royals die horribly.
 
Checked the tally, apparently everyone's most willing to sacrifice our ships before morale, time, or mechs.

Which is hilarious, as ships house the mechs, the men who hold that morale, and the means by which we are racing the clock and the literal weapons with which we'll be fighting other ships.

Ergo, probably the thing most important not to sacrifice.

I'm going with mecha over ships because I think our choices have resulted in more ship-focused battles, so it'll be fun to shake that up.
 
... I'll be honest, I chose mecha over ships because our girlfriend is currently in the former.

Yes, this means that I put my ship over our ships.
 
TBH. Most of the ship losses are probably going to be recoverable, just not able to arrive on time.

I just hope Lori isn't among those lost.
 
The way i see it, ships are more important than mechs.
You can have ships operating alone, or with less mechs, but mechs without a ship are not that useful outside a very short range.
With less mechs patrols can still go out, less armed sure, but there is still some eyes looking out into the void, without ships, any defenses will unavoidable have lot of holes, and strategic and tactical options will be drasticly reduced.

Also, mechs are cheaper to replace.
