Only once we have liberal society values and the common person has access to large varieties of cosmetic hair dyes for cheap. Then it might not be supernatural.
I mean, Blonde and red hair isn't supernatural.
Also why would we need liberal society values for that?
Our Bonetenders shave their head and put lime on themselves.

[X] Plan We Need More Pops

We need a couple turns to build up population, and then expansion. I can't help but think that the Makarite position is to some extent inherently weak, but then, we also need to start expanding down river.

Based on real world norms. Would you see people in a conservative society or just conservative people with rainbow hair?

As for the bonetenders, they shave their heads and put lime on their face in order to try and replicate the appearance of a skull. Unless you get a religious order that worships rainbows or just more generally color, you wouldn't be seeing someone who had died their hair with as many colors as possible.

Were not in the real world tho, were Death Cult Hyper Conquerors. Besides you don't need liberal ideals for it, just a cultural penchant for it, since "liberal Ideals" are a Modern fabrication based on our culture.

Or they see colorfulness as endearing or prestigious due to how rare dyes still are.

In that case they just use loads of the single most expensive and difficult to obtain dye. Aka purple, hence why it was the color of kings and emperors, rather than a tie-dyed color scheme. Besides, fashion sense still exists, and very, very few people actually look good in rainbow colored clothing.

I wish we could get dominant blonde and Red Hair... uhhh All the Variations between that, it would make us so different looking from everyone around us that'd it be kind of funny.

But anyways, *hype for next update*

I think the Makarites won the struggle down south personally.
Not so sure.

They are brittle. Using fanatical mobs who should be working instead in war is a quick way to kill you own economy (we have been warned of that when considering the Unyielding Identity), so a prolonged war might not be in their favor.
On the other hand they do have better morale and seemingly endless internal support for war, while the Bushcrestians might try to flee or surrender eventually.

It's really an uncertain case for me, and we don't have the numbers to say anything definitive.
