Traveling through time is something that is reserved for the most dire of circumstances. Those who are unqualified to handle such a trip, or are sent by someone unqualified, can deal with a large number of unpleasant side effects.

Such as memory loss. Which probably removes most of the point of traveling through time in the first place. You think.

Still, the voice in your head thinks you're making not-entirely terrible decisions, so at least you've got that going for you.

Your name is Ken Amada, you are eighteen years old, and you honestly think that your life's going pretty well right now. You haven't had to summon Kala-Nemi in years, you're well on your way to graduating from high school, and you've even managed to cut down on the number of fangirls following you everywhere!

Yeah, life's pretty good. Even if you keep getting mistaken for that one detective on TV... whatever his name was. He hasn't shown up recently, and you only really care when Shirogane-san complains about him... or those cases of mistaken identity.

All things considered, though... you like the way things are. Koromaru seems to agree with you, even if you don't understand him the way that your more mechanical friends do. He's getting up there in years, but he's still a good friend.

The way your life is now... you wouldn't trade it for anything.


It is Christmas Eve. Everything still seems fine. You go to sleep already making plans for the next year, sure that it'll come around without any problems the way it always has... well, if you don't count back when you were eleven. Or thirteen. But things seem to have quieted down since then, so it should be just fine.

You open your eyes someplace else. It's very blue, very broken, and you see a small girl flipping through the pages of a large book. For whatever reason, she seems to remind you of someone...

"Come on, it has to be somewhere..." She mutters. "Okay, I've got someone with a Persona in a good age range, I've got permission from Chronos to not let the Demiurge control everything... why was the last person with access to these protocols Elizabeth!? Who trusted her with this!? She's my big sister, and I wouldn't trust her with this!"

"Um, what are you doing?" You ask. You're still not sure what's going on, but you do recall meeting someone named Elizabeth, and she was certainly... an experience. Mostly of watching Makoto-san nearly get blown up with Megidolaon. It was very memorable.

"Quiet! We'll be found!" She hisses at you, now juggling a set of cards. "Look, I need you to save the world."

"What!?" From what? Or who? Whatever. You haven't seen any signs of a potential apocalypse lately, and you know what they look like, you've gone through three of them! And that's just the ones you know about... okay, you can see why the world might need saving.

"I don't have any time to explain!"

"You don't have any time at all," A new voice speaks up. The girl turns to you, her face showing clear signs of panic, and she shoves a ball of light at you.

"Come on! Get going!" The light hits you, there's an explosion... and your world becomes pain.


You are Ken Amada, a nine year old boy, and it is the fifteenth of December. You have woken up in the middle of what you not-so-affectionately refer to as 'the green time' due to receiving flashes of... something. You're not quite sure what it means, but it's... pretty terrible.

What did you see?

[ ] Two versions of the same person, and the headache that implies. (Remember meeting the female Makoto Yuki... somehow. After leaving his first Q Event, Ken will retain his sub-Persona.)

[ ] Elizabeth. (Remember Elizabeth, with no context for anything, not that it'd help much. All special interactions unlocked with residents of the Velvet Room.)

[ ] A night of red fog, another you with golden eyes, and absolutely zero context. (Remember the entirety of Ultimax, with zero context. Ken is able to use Free Summoning.)

Question. If we choose FeMC for P3, does Chidori and Shinjiro survive?
They can, but keep in mind that, by the time whatever protagonist is chosen arrives, Ken will have been influencing events for over a year, so it may end up being a moot point... for Shinji. Not sure what you personally can do for Chidori.

I've never seen a story with both P3 protagonists that didn't suck, but I'm pretty sure you could do it justice, and it would be fun to have both. From reading your Digimon quest I have full trust in your storytelling abilities

I spent long enough with just the names Arisato Minato and Seta Souji that the other ones never got hold on me. I actually find it interesting that at this point it's other names that are more "popular". It's just personal preference, though, I don't mind them. You're not entirely sure what that dream was, if it even was a dream. It could be a vision of the future for all you know, or even a memory, except you don't remember any of the future you were supposedly sent from. Still, it's a nice idea. Saving the world...

You shake your head. That doesn't really matter. Even if it was a memory, you have no idea where to begin, or even when. And something tells you that girl in blue isn't going to be much help, even if you do find her... again?

Time travel, even theoretical time travel, makes your head hurt.

The worst part is, it's not entirely implausible, what with things like the green time. You've been experiencing this odd phenomenon for just under a year now, though you don't always wake up during it, as it only seems to happen in the middle of the night. All power shuts off- including the heat, which is bad for December, though the temperature always returns afterwards- water turns to blood, and everyone but you becomes a coffin.

Well, almost everyone. Mom wasn't a coffin, the night she died, and there were also- no, that doesn't matter right now. What matters is that it's apparently not just you, though you thought it was for the longest time.

There's not much you can do, when you wake up in the green time like this. Mostly you stay in bed, because that's what good kids do, and your blankets are good for keeping out the winter chill. And because you can't go outside right now.

Okay, technically, you can. But it's a bad idea. Your first- and only- rule for this time is 'don't go outside', because it's just not safe during this time. There are monsters there.

Such as the large masked bird that is flapping around outside your window. You just need to wait for this time to end and it'll go away, but... the bird screeches, and dives at the window, talons latching for a way to open it. For some reason, it seems to really want to attack you.

You find yourself inching towards the edge of your bed. It can't get in. You know it can't. Maybe.

Truth be told, the monsters never actually tried attacking you before, at least in the sense that you were the main target. Maybe this bird really can break through the window and get at you. And for some reason, you find yourself disliking the idea a lot more than you did this morning.

You decide to try and shake your fist at the bird menacingly, and somehow a ring of cards appears around it, before shrinking into nothingness and taking the masked thing with them. Almost immediately, you start to feel really tired.

Well... that's new. You can think about that later, though. Right now, you just want to sleep...


You wake up on Sunday morning with the events of last night still fresh in your mind, both the odd power you threw at the monster bird and the dream-vision-memory you had before it. You're still not entirely sure what happened there, but you're pretty sure that it actually happened, if only because you can see claw marks on the windowsill. You hope nobody thinks to ask you about that...

On a happier note, you found a bunch of coins sitting beneath the window that nobody seems to have dropped. Yours now. Sure, it's barely enough to buy you a drink... but it's still something.

Now that you can think during 'normal' time, you find that you actually believe the girl, when she said she wanted you to save the world, somehow. At the very least, she believed what she was saying, and the appearance of the apparent enemy, even if you didn't see said enemy, only goes to make it more likely.

Of course, you're now half the age you were then, don't remember anything of your supposed future, and apparently didn't know what you were supposed to do from the beginning. So no matter how real it was... what are you supposed to do now?

You suppose your best bet is to decide what to do today, and figure out the rest later. Nobody ever notices a kid going anywhere on a Sunday, so you've got that going for you, at least.

So, what do you want to do?


[ ] Go for a walk. Even if you can't think of something to do, it should keep your mind off all the weird stuff.

-[ ] To Port Island Station

[ ] Try and figure out what, exactly, you did last night.

[ ] Study. Maybe schoolwork will make you feel normal again.
