You pause, halting your anger at the white animal for the moment. Whatever it wants from you, it clearly lacks the psychic prowess to force its way into your mind. In addition, you have no clue what the consequences of letting it pass through your carefully-constructed barriers would be.
Thus, you dismiss its presence for now. As you turn away from the creature, you spot from the corner of your vision an item you had heard ample things about in your lessons.
Don't be silly, Mami. I'm the only one who can contract magical girls.
You carefully stand up and walk over, examining the large rectangular electronic device that occupies most of the wall from which it hangs on. Margaret had told you much of the television's role in modern human society, how it managed to successfully connect the ever-changing and in-flux human world in a way that had never been possible before. You could barely fathom such concepts, back in the day.
Besides, she's not a magical girl.
The black screen denies you its secrets as you ponder on a way to activate it. Poking it does nothing, and neither does clapping for it to show itself.
Of course not. She doesn't even have a soul gem!
Fuming at the impertinent device, you are startled by the enormous display turning itself on, sudden light being blasted at your eyes as you quickly step away. You turn to see the tiny animal perched on the small table between the sofa and you, one of its paws stepping on a hand-sized black gadget with a myriad of symbols upon its surface.
It scampers off as you walk over, and you delicately pick up the contraption. You scrutinize it, the unfamiliar signs drawn on its many buttons a challenging enigma for your ignorant self.
Of course, you conclude after a few seconds. It was so evidently clear.
You are about to press the big red button at the top, when a voice interrupts you.
"--Police have cordoned off the area of the impact zone, and have issued a statement requesting citizens remain calm--"
Images flash through the screen, and you manage to recognize the immense building from where you arrived into this world. A human in a suit continues rattling on about some incident you don't care about, and you gasp faintly in surprise as a fairly realistic drawing of you is shown prominently on the screen.
"Multiple witnesses claim a small white-haired girl dressed in blue, who could be no older than ten, walked out of the newly-made crater completely unharmed. Authorities are investigating, but this appears to be a case of mass hysteria, as no physical or recorded evidence could be found--"
Are the humans alerting others of your presence? You don't sense any hostility from the announcer, but you also know their actions are a substantial mystery to you. Quite the dilemma.
"Lavenza?" You turn to see Mami on a different outfit, this one being more simple and casual than her previous one. "Could I speak with you for a minute?"
Her terse expression makes you do a double take, flashing back to your first encounter with her from earlier in the day. Her arms and body are stiff, and while her speech is perfectly polite and civil, you can feel the tension in the air.
Something is obviously wrong.
Almost hesitantly, she starts speaking. "Have you… ever met Kyubey?" She asks, leaving briefly you confused before she gestures at the creature sitting on the sofa. Ah. So it does have a name. "Because he just told me he's never seen you before."
...You didn't know it could speak.
She crosses her arms, clearly uncomfortable with her words. "Then, I thought perhaps someone else had given you your wish, and he proceeded to enlighten me, telling me he is the only one capable of doing that."
"After that, he told me something more interesting. You aren't a magical girl." She purses her lips; upset by actions you couldn't have predicted. "Now, you appear to be a kind and pleasant girl, and I don't want to assume or guess any longer, so I believe I deserve some kind of explanation."
Kyubey stands between the both of you, tail swishing in rapt attention.
What do you do?
[] Write-In.

I have no idea how you guys want this to play out, so I think a Write-In is best for now.
This was inevitable, btw. Kyubey just expatiated the process, as he often does whenever he's involved in something.
