The Party Part 3: This Beautiful Mess
You ran out the front door of your home, pushing chakra into your legs and leaping high in the air. It was the first time you had done a chakra jump outside of class, but the feeling was exhilarating. It was like flying in the sky, and the sound you made was something between a dying animal and a happy child.
So the villagers were not surprised that you landed in the middle of the street, running like hell towards the hospital.
Though they were a little annoyed that you did not use the rooftops of the village, like any sane ninja, instead of jumping onto the main road and run through the village like a child gone crazy.
Thankfully, you were in pretty good shape from all the training, so you were able to navigate the village pretty easily and you got to the largest building in the village, the Hospital.
You stormed the front door and pushed your way to the front desk, thankfully, getting noticed halfway through by most of the staff as… well you.
Your groups little escape had you stay in the hospital for a few days after you came back for a check up, and to get all your vaccinations again.
"Oh hello Ayako." The nurse on the front desk said.
'Where are my parents?!' You signed as fast as you could.
There was confusion on the nurses face. "Ayako, I'm just a civilian, I don't know konoha sign that well." She then showed you a chair. "I'll get one of the nin down here to translate for you, I-"
You rolled your eyes, this was too damn important to be forced to sit back and wait. You cast your genjutsu and shouted. "Where are my parents!?"
That made everyone step back, as you had just cast it on everyone in the waiting room… and you barely even notice it.
Heck, a few ninja who were there drew weapons to defend everyone.
The nurse at the front desk looked at you, fearful and frightened at your unmoving face. You than looked down and bowed. "Please… I want to be there for my little brother."
There was a sense of calm that fell upon the hospital, and everyone seemed to understand your worry. "Let me take you to your parents okay?" The nurse said as she stood up. "Rei, take over for a few minutes."
"Got it." The other nurse said.
The women than held out her hand, but you refused, wanting to follow behind her rather than besides her. The nurse didn't seem to take offense.
You maneuvered your way through the hospital corridors until you reached one of the maternity rooms.
The door opened, and you walked through the threshold.
You didn't know what happened after that, save for a sharp pain in the back of your neck and a black bag that covered your head.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You came too with a bright light shining on your face, and two ANBU masks looking over you. "She's awake."
You did not recognize where you were, but you suspected that you were not in Konoha anymore.
"AHH! You son of a bitch!" your mother screamed at the top of her lungs. "WHERE IS SHE!"
"She's here." One of the masked ANBU said.
"Thank god." Your father than rushed over to you. You saw that a few of his fingers were in splints. "You alright Ayako?"
You nodded. "Where am I?" You asked, the genjutsu being instinctively cast to your father.
Your father's face became very serious. "Someplace where no one will get hurt."
"What's going on?" you asked.
Your father took a deep breath. "I'm telling her… we need her help if my son is going to survive without any permanent mental damage."
Sorry I have to lie kiddo, but I don't have a choice right now, and I need your help keeping the two separated.
The ANBU remained silent, both of them trading looks, but doing nothing to stop your father. "Something has caused a complication with your brothers birth."
That didn't sound good. "What is it?" You asked.
"Your mothers grip on her Beast is loosening, childbirth is making it think it's under attack, and it wants to fight to make the pain stop… If it gets let out, your mother will die." He paused. "But that means your brother will not have a guiding presence in his mind… if he doesn't have one in the crucial first minutes of his life, his mind will start to alter the reality around him, and his body will destroy itself because it does not have the chakra to sustain that kind of power."
"What do I need to do?" You asked.
He smiled. "I need you to enter your brothers mind and keep the beast chained until your mother finishes giving birth. It's difficult for me to ask… but I need your help."
"That sounds..." You stated. "Very hard."
"It is kiddo. You might get hurt by his own beast if your not careful..." Your father then knelt down to your height and looked you in the eyes. "But I need your help. I can't divide my attention between the two of them. Not without risking my life."
