The Party: Part 2
The Hokage's presence was noticed immediately by everyone in the party, the two flanking ANBU next to him vanishing into the rafters of the house.
You gave a confused smile, holding out your hand and signing. 'Hello Lord Hokage.' You paused, putting your hand down for a moment, before asking. 'Why are you here?'
Lord Hokage gave a small chuckle. "Oh Ayako, I have a gift for you, and I need to talk to your mother about some business." The way he said business made you worry, usually that meant mom was about to go out on a mission or do something important for the sake of the village.
You hated it when Lord Hokage always came to your mother with important business. There was plenty of other ninjas who could do the same job she could, why was she always the one being chosen.
It was sad.
Than Lord Hokage pulled out a scroll from behind his back.
Holy moly… you did not expect that for a birthday present. 'Is that a summoning scroll?' You asked.
"Yes." Lord Hokage stated. "You do know of Enma, the Monkey King? The monkey summon I summon on occasion?"
Of course, you did. It was one of the reasons he became Hokage. Having a summon was basically admitting to the world that the summons thought you were badass enough to have around as a friend.
'Why are you giving it to me?' You asked.
"Actually, it's a gift from your godfather." Lord Hokage said. "He asked me to deliver it."
Wait… You have a godfather? You looked towards your mother, who shattered the teacup in her hand.
Something tells you that your godfather and your mother were not on good terms.
Then you felt killing intent coming from your mother, and she started stomping towards Lord Hokage. "Hiruzen." Her voice was early calm, and the ANBU seemed to cower in the rafters.
"Some bodyguards you are." Lord Hokage stated, looking up to the Rafters.
"Hey, we ain't getting in the way of the captain." The ANBU shot back. "You'll know what she'll do to us when she recovers from her pregnancy"
Your mother's eyes seemed to glow red in the shadows. "Where is that sonuvabitch teammate of mine so I can gut him like a fish?"
"Honey, your stress level." Your father said, grabbing her shoulders and trying to pull her away. "It's bad for the baby to get worked up like this"
The fact your father was thrown onto the floor in one swift movement did not help the matter at all. The thud your father made also made you feel very uncomfortable.
"Dad are you alright?" You asked through Genjutsu.
"I'm fine… I'm more worried about your mother's anger right now. She might go into labor." Your father replied.
"What did her teammate do to her?" You asked.
"Oh Hiruzen, do not lie to me… Why is it now of all days that he arrives in Konoha because he surely hasn't been around for Ayako's birthday for the past 8 years" Your mother glared at the Hokage, who was unfazed by her anger.
"He was on a mission for me, and had to remain out of contact for the duration of it." Lord Hokage replied, pulling out his pipe.
"For eight years?" Your mother gritted her teeth.
Lord Hokage took a deep breath. "Yes." Even you knew that was a lie.
That did not make your mother look any happier. In fact, it made her angrier. "He promised to protect Aya-" It was then you heard the sound of water hitting the floor, and your mother's face become pained. Did someone spill tea?
Then your mother screamed in pain, falling to the ground. You saw the small puddle on the floor at her feet "AHHH!"
"Op… Baby's coming." Kagami stated the obvious.
Your father immediately sprang into action, scooping up your mother and ran outside, jumping out of the compound and into the village, towards the hospital.
Everyone who was watching could only stare and wonder what the hell just happened.
