The Party: Part 1

This time, a party was at your home. It was your 8th birthday today. Something that a few weeks ago thought you would never see.

Now here you were… here at your home, celebrating with your friends.

They were all here. Your family and friends.

Jiraiya was still writing, but this time, he did not hide it with his hands and read it aloud to your parents. His details were so exquisite and real, it was like going back to the road. But it was a good feeling this time, not unlike a dream… Like an adventure, where no one died.

Ren was also reading over Jiraiya's shoulder, pointing out the various inaccuracies that Jiraiya got wrong. Something that he was taking immense pleasure.

Minako and Sakumo were the impromptu bodyguards of your birthday, though you had to suspect your mom, as their jounin sensei, was telling them to do it to make them feel comfortable, and to get some training in.

Yoshi and Eien were relaxing on the floor, exhausted from their impromptu spar outside, one that went on for almost a half hour. Even Yuri, the poor pup was snoring loudly on Eien's chest.

Tsunade was chatting with Asahi and eating some of the finger food your mother had set up. Tsunade was eating everything she could get her hands on, while Asahi was just happy that someone was talking to her, and feeling comfortable.
