Homura has her memories back, this is what matters. Tempted to directly face the problem but things are way too different for just repeating the whole gilled cage thing right away.

Plus, this is exactly what Homura does in Rebellion when she remembers things: test the waters with people that may be in the same situation.

We may want to restore Amy's memories and power, clue her in on current events, and ask her to keep an eye on the others for us.

(Because there's no way in any possible universe that Sayaka will want us to keep her company. And Amy is our minion dammit.)

Eh, at least Madoka is actually taking action that she thinks will improve her happiness. High-handed though it may have been, arguably it's an improvement over her usual attitude of suicidal generosity Let her get on with it, and stand by to pick up the pieces.

The problem is that this was clearly an attempt to make Homura happy, not herself, now she may have gotten relieved by Homura proving to not simply be no longer herself (or just suicidal) Madoka isnt really any happier then when she first let us out of the prison at the start of the quest.

At the very least it should reach the same levels of acceptability as MamiXCharlotte had in the pre-Rebellion days. And pairing Hitomi up with any available female characters has been a thing since before Mami got ahead.

Definitely an acceptable pairing, retracting the ship-to-ship battlecannons.
