"And then what?" Mike asked.

"What do you mean and then what? She just gave me a weird smile and I guess the two of us are friends now." You answered, finishing your story.

"What a lucky bastard." Mike frowned. "I wish a girl that hot was into me."

"Weren't you listening? We're just friends."

"John." Mike sighed and shook his head. "A girl doesn't do all that crazy stuff if she wants to be just friends."

"She's not crazy, just weird." You corrected him.

"If you say so." He yawned. "Just be careful. Girls like that normally get crazier after they get attached."

"...."

"Hey Michael." Uncle Nico came rushing down the stairs. He was wearing his favorite winter coat with a large briefcase in his right hand and his LV duffel bag in his left. "I have family business to attend to this weekend. I'll be out of state until Monday so you guys just hold tight until then."

"Don't worry Mr. V!" Mike exclaimed. "We'll hold down the fort!"

"That's what I like to hear. Oh and here's some money for the 4 of you to get through the weekend." He added as he tossed $1000 in hundreds on the table.

"Uncle Nico we definitely don't-" You started but he was already out the door.

"Sweet! Domino's on the house!" Mike cheered.

"Can we at least get actual pizza?" You whined, your nose cringing in disgust. "If I wanted cardboard with tomato sauce I would just eat out the garbage with the raccoons."

"You Italians and your pizza." He muttered. "Fine whatever. It's on you!"

"By the way, where are your cousins?" Mike asked, glancing around the living room

"I don't know. Probably off doing something that ranges from semi to extremely stupid."

The two of you spent the rest of the night playing Fortnite, eating pizza and watching moves. At some point or another you both fell asleep on the couch.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Yup ten. You thought to yourself as you counted for the second time.

You had woken up to ten beer kegs standing across from you in the living room. They only contributed to the growing doubt you've had since you talked to those girls in the mall. Then you walked to the kitchen and your suspicions were confirmed.

On the top of the kitchen counter there were 5 huge plastic tubs, next to them were multiple bottles of vodka and fruit juice.

Jungle juice.

If that wasn't bad enough on the kitchen table there were multiple ziploc bags full of candy?

Nope, not candy. That's definitely not candy.

On the floor were a bunch of other things, elevated surfaces, party strobe lights, speaker systems and more.

"Johnny Appleseed!" P.J yelled from the living room.

They were all on the couch. Mike was now awake, T.J and P.J seated next to him with T.J taking a hit of the bong.

"The list. The list was supposed to be 20-40 people." You calmly said, looking off into space.

"Yup! Almost forgot about that, here's our list." P.J grinned as he handed you the piece of paper.

You didn't even bother looking at the list as you crumpled it and threw it to the ground.

"Hey that took a lot of time to make!"

"The party supplies you guys bought aren't for 40 people!" You snapped, losing your temper. "It's not even for 100 people! How many people did you invite?"

"You're just finding out about this now?" Mike yawned, rubbing his eyes. "I thought you knew. Don't you have your cousins on snapchat?"

"I don't waste my time with that stuff." You dismissively answered. You were a simple message and call guy.

"Oh, I mean if you did you would know what they're talking about." John replied, handing you his phone.

"345 people...." You muttered to yourself, Mike's phone slipping out of your hands.

"If it makes you feel better." T.J said. "At least none of them are mob members."

"The two of you had one job! One fucking job!" You screamed, your head starting to spin.

"Hahaha!" P.J chuckled. "John's doing that thing where his face gets all red again."

"Now me and Mike have to go clean up the mess you two idi-" You stop as you look at Mike.

"Mike, Mike! Are you serious?" You demand as you watch the football star take a hit of the bong.

"What do you expect?" *cough cough* "Football practice doesn't start for another two weeks."

You just glared at the 3 red-eyed fools on the couch, realizing the losing battle you were facing.

"Besides, at this point all you can really do is get ready for the shitshow." Mike said, his eyes glazing over. "You know how this town is John. Once people find out about a party here then EVERYONE shows up."

"...."

"Yeah and we spent over 2 racks on alcohol and ecstasy!" T.J added.

"You think I give a damn about that?" You angrily responded.

"At this point you might as well stock up." Mike continued.

"Stock up?"

"Yeah stock up on like, ummm, uhhhhh." He squinted, as if that was going to assist his memory function. "It's called CC, I forget what it stands for."

"Closed captioning?" P.J suggested.

"Nah...."

"Community college?" T.J added.

"Nah that's not it either."

"Crowd control." You stated, getting sick of hearing the idiots ramble on.

"Yeah that." He said, lazily pointing at you. "You just need to make sure you can handle assholes when shit goes down. My older brother's fraternity used to keep tazers for people that couldn't handle themselves."

Hmmm..

The house is huge, we can definitely fit 345 people but.. can you really account for 345 drunken idiots? Then again if you did cancel the party, who's to say it would stop everyone from showing up. It might cause more problems than just having it...
