Chapter 1.5 Interlude Update 25
+4 Combat! Life Count at +1
~~~~~~~~~
Sometimes you guys will be able to choose what chapter comes next and other times I'll pick for you. Right now you have the choice.
I rolled a while back for the Salvali's to be the family you investigate first but I decided to let you guys pick because I'd rather not see you get brutally slaughtered I think it's an important decision. You'll get to them all in due time.
An easy chapter is similar in difficulty to the first one, probably a little harder. You can die but you would have to make some dumb decisions and even then you can be bailed out by luck.
A normal chapter is moderate difficulty. Choosing bad decisions can get you injured or killed and there is less room for error.
A hard chapter is high difficulty. You have little to no room for error in most instances and making minor mistakes will usually get you or your companions severely injured or killed.
Choose who the Vescovi's investigate first!
[] The Capello Family, one of the richest mob families in New York. They were a family of con artists and schemers known to have very little morals in regards to what they were willing to do for money. Most of them were rather cowardly in nature and not considered threats in the criminal underworld. (Easy) 2 Chapter Rewards for completion.
[] Public Safety Unit 9, aka the Provas. The tryhards of Brownsville Police and the only unit that is a problem to the mob in general. They especially hate the Vescovi's and are known to push the boundaries of the law in order to "keep order". (Normal) 4 Chapter Rewards for completion.
[] The Salvali Family, a family whose brutality and ruthlessness was considered extreme, even by mob standards. They were known for getting information out of the toughest criminals through their interrogation and torture methods. In addition to that, they had some of the best hit-men in the state under contract. (Hard) 6 Chapter Rewards for completion. (You guys really wanna die that bad huh)
Easy chapter first so we can grow.
Messing with the police can go so horribly wrong, but at the same time there's so much stuff we could do to mess with them as well.
Also lol I just figured out that Sophia isn't the girl we saved in the alleyway, but our former stalker. Haha I was already thinking she sounded different.
Also we should definitely investigate this Sophia chick, because let's be honest here. This sounds shady as hell. Also we got a 'girlfriend'now *groans* great because those don't tend to have major upkeep costs. :) Oh well maybe since she knows a bit about the mob, she is more understanding to the fact we have mob business to deal with as well.
Yes, we metaphorically stuck our dick in crazy. But in fairness crazy love is the best kind, although best experienced vicariously.
Chapter 2 Intro Update 26
After the four of you got food, Mike headed back home and the cleaners showed up and cleaned the house. The smell of throw-up was gone, the house was tidy and in-place, and the house honestly looked better than when your uncle had left. You and the twins relaxed on the couch and watched movies for the rest of the day. You were surprised when your Uncle Nico showed up at the door late night.
"Uncle Nico.... I thought you weren't coming back until tomorrow." P.J chuckled nervously.
Your uncle just eyed the three of you and sighed.
"You guys must think I'm an absolute idiot huh?" He shook his head. "I hear about everything that happens in this town. You think I wouldn't hear about a blockbuster party going on at my own house."
Welp, I had a good fifteen years of life.
The house is in surprisingly good shape." He said as he took a quick glance around. "I'll guess that's due to John."
You just gave him a sheepish grin in return.
"Anyway, I understand you guys are that at age where you do dumbass things like this. The house seems fine and everyone is ok so I'm not too mad."
"Haha yeah Uncle Nic-"
"Shut it T.J." He growled. "If you two ever pull some shit like this again you'll be homeless, you understand me?"
"Yes Uncle Nico." They murmured in unison.
"And you." He said, turning in your direction. "You're not responsible for these idiots but you know better. Come upstairs with me."
The twins just gave you a look similar to what middle-schoolers give a person who got called down to the principals office.
"I'm really sorry about this Uncle Nico." You said as you closed his office door. "I didn't me-"
"Don't sweat it John." He yawned. "I was just breaking your balls in front of the twins to straighten them up. I called you up here for a different reason. To be frank with you, I've been letting you take it easy for a little bit to give you time to acclimate to your new role within the family. Unfortunately, we have some issues that need to be taken care of."
Aka, issues that I need to take care of.
"We were never big players in the drug game here in Brownsville, especially when you look at the Marino's and the Moretti's. But still, a decent portion of our revenue comes from our cocaine and speed sales. There's a new small-time dealer on the block, and he is threatening to cut into that portion of our revenue."
"So you need us to take him out?" You asked, already knowing the answer.
He nodded and continued. "His name is Zhang Wei. The youngest son of a major triad boss. He's been disowned from his family, so we shouldn't have to worry about them. He is a well-cultured and educated young man, somewhere in his late twenties. It seems that while we were mourning your fathers death, he was using that time to move in on our clients, undercutting our prices. Slowly but surely he has been gaining more and more of our regular clientele. He has acquired a decent amount of money and from Angelo's reports he has about 7 or 8 enforcers under his payroll."
8 bodyguards sounds a little excessive..
"Right now Zhang isn't too big of an issue. He's a low to mid level dealer with a limited amount of resources and no real connections. However, if we don't address him now, he could grow into a much bigger problem down the line. Normally, we would send your cousin Sal to deal with these kinds of jobs but him and his crew are too busy to deal with this right now."
"I get it."
"The main problem is that if we don't squash him now, he'll just continue to get bigger take more of our clientele and reach a point where have no choice but to address him by that point he will be a way bigger problem than he is now."
New job assigned!: Find and Kill Drug Lord Zhang Wei.
"The thing with Zhang is that he's a smart guy, he knows how to move in the business.. He's not like these hotshots who flash all their money and burn out too quick. We found out some of his favorite strip clubs that he goes to for business. We also have a small lead on a woman he may be seeing if that means anything."
"Is this something that needs to be done ASAP?" You scratched your head, contemplating how you were going to go about this.
"Zhang is supposed to be flying out of the country in a week or two, probably to establish a new supplier. There's no word on when he will be back so we were hoping to take him out before he leaves. Since you have a week or so, for right now you should just gather information. We can't afford to have a sloppy hit and miss. If we put Zhang on high alert, he'll be so paranoid that it could be months before we getting another shot at him."
......
"You should somewhat have a feel for your guys by now. I want you to pick 5 guys from your crew to track and take out Zhang."
Choose the 5 members you want for this job! Plan format please.
[] P.J Vescovi, his talent for making explosives could come in handy, either as a distraction or as lethal force.
[] T.J Vescovi, his talent for making explosives could come in handy, either as a distraction or as lethal force.
[] Gabriel, he could probably hack into some files and dig up some personal information on Zhang.
[] Samuele, one of your leads is that he visits strips club weekly. Maybe Samuele and his female.. associates could be of use.
[] Mateo, a get-away driver is usually needed for a clean hit to well... get away.
[] Willie, a hardcore criminal like this would be perfect for a job like this.
[] Rafael, the master thief was a savvy criminal with a ton of street experience.
[] Boris, he was the only actual hit-men in your crew. This was one was a no-brainer.
A/N: Yeah I wasn't able to get my laptop fixed today, so I did this of a Uni completed. Didn't really have time to spellcheck everything but at least I was able to get something out for now. If you have any questions ask.
Wheelman to get away, two ways of approaching the mark, and two guys who actually are familiar with killing dudes.
