Frankly I don't really care for the high school experience when we're stuck with 0 combat and we've already been in three potential combat scenarios. The Hobo, the Bully, or the Neighbour could all have wiped the floor with us. We need to get our combat skills and physical stats up to something respectable.

Both combat and firearm skill are needed, but I am going for combat first, because whilst the firearm skill is the more usefull one in most desperate situations, the combat skill is the more versatile one. You can't shoot the school bully (well you can, but obviously not in public), but you can beat him up. Honestly we lucked out last time with Hector.

It was a pretty meh day at school so far. You were seated at your lunch table with Mike and his jock friends. You never really cared for them because they were assholes to everyone but they were very friendly with you. You weren't sure whether it was because you were friends with Mike or they were afraid of the family.
"Ey Johnf, ou gon eat hat chicken pat?" Mike garbled with a mouthful of mashed potatoes.
"Be my guest." You sighed as you passed the sandwich over to him. While you did this you happened to make eye contact with a pretty female that was walking out of the cafeteria. She looked familiar too....
"Hey Mike! Mike look!" You exclaimed, frantically tapping his shoulder. "That's the girl I was talking about!"
"That's the new girl that everyone is talking about, Sofia Inganno." He paused, taking a large gulp of chocolate milk. "She just moved here from Chicago. I think she's a grade or two older than us. She moved into this big house near the golf courses."
"That's not what I meant Mike. That's the stalker!"
"Her? No way!" Mike smiled. "That chick is super hot. Why would she be stalking you?"
"Gee thanks Mike."
"I didn't mean it like that. It's just that hot girls don't stalk guys. Especially younger guys. Maybe it was just in your head."

Ever since the robbery at Hugo's you'd thought about how useless you were with a gun. You reached out to all your uncles for help but they were busy. Rafael and Mateo were busy too and you figured that reaching out to any of the other subordinates that you didn't know too well wouldn't make a good impression. So, you settled on your last resort.
"Alright!" P.J yelled as he paced back and forth. "I know what you're thinking! Why here of all places?"
"That's exactly what I'm thinking." You stoically responded. "There's so many gun ranges in our area, why would we come out to the middle of nowhere?"
P.J had brought you guys to a random forest far away from home. You were definitely far enough from any towns to be able fire the gun without worry but you would prefer a gun range with targets and without bugs eating you alive.
"There's something about the wilderness that turns boys into manly man!" He laughed. "John this is your training day!"
"Seriously, how am I supposed to shoot without targets?" You whined.
"John when you're using that thing for real you're not gonna be shooting a fucking target sign." P.J snapped, turning serious for a moment. "You're gonna be firing at people that are most likely shooting back at you. You need to learn how to shoot moving targets."

"Okay now lets get down to business!" He cheered in his regular goofy tone.
He surprisingly taught you a decent amount in your short time, the proper grip for a pistol, the proper stance you take when shooting, proper balance, and how to align your sights. After taking you through the basics he had you shoot at squirrels the rest of the time to improve your aim. You objected at first but P.J just laughed and told you that you would be doing far worse with a gun once you really got into the business. Unfortunately, or fortunately for the squirrels, you came nowhere close to hitting them with your sucky aim.
You noticed whenever you pulled the trigger of the gun the force would cause your hands to jerk around messing up your shot. P.J informed you that it was a common beginner mistake and that learning to have a smooth trigger pull was something most people needed to work on. He said only the very best marksmen could rapidly pull the trigger without ever moving the gun out of alignment, one of them being your older cousin Sal.
You should probably try asking him next time.
