Of course. I'm more along the lines of introducing the conversation to see where everyone's mind is at on the topic.

I kind of want to do something different than everyone else, but, I don't mind following in our parents footsteps either.

So, Painting and singing from our parents, Sai used ink, Konan used origami, Tayuya used a flute... I'm sure there are options for a unique take on it but my mind isn't really working right now.
(Also, I'm not saying all of these are using genjutsu, I'm just saying with our ability to make genjutsu reality that they're a possibility for us anyways.)

Edit: Wait. Fucking erasers. Just fucking, erase the enemy jutsu midair.
How about shadow theater, our grandma uses shadows that fascinates us and we already have dexterous hands because of sign language.

Well, you could compare notes with the Nara at least.

A Kurama spy or assassin specializing in shadows could do some damage listening or killing unexpectedly from a extended shadow, but unlike a Nara, the Kurama Alter would probably make it real obvious the shadow is supernatural and the distance factor isn't even that valuable considering clans like the Inuzuka exist in the same village that can hear a fly fart at 300 meters or the Hyuuga that can read lips from underground a kilometer away. Besides, other shinobi will look out for shadow manipulation from the leaf.

Unless you can replicate the theoretical Nara trick of 'touching every shadow' you have range to at night, that'd be very very dangerous, like a major reality warping 'always surrounded by a army' at night. Well, depending on mental strain, but that's what shadow clone is for.

Actually a Kurama that can create a large false night that's hard to dispel and a high level Nara + literally any random shinobi could be very effective in both day and night. But since most Nara have no endurance to speak of (supposedly, maybe a lie), i bet Nara that can do large scale kagemane and hold multiple shinobi are thin on the ground.

You miss half of the point. I was more thinking about something like this

becoming real.

[ ]Ro
[ ]Senju Tsunade: It is her Fifth Birthday, the same age as you!

I think Ro would be a great multi-layer name. Ro means furnace, which works with her fiery red hair and the intense looking eyes. Ro is also the equivalent of the English Russo- prefix, meaning Russian. Lastly, Ro is the first syllable(ish) in Romanoff. Look at all the potential references to the Black Widow background!

Edit: Vote changed to Aka in later post since Ro didn't catch on.

I'm kind of interested in the Uchiha twins but I'll vote Tsunade for now.

Ah discussion, it warms this qms heart seeing it happen.

Is it possible to develop a genjutsu focused on weaponizing the anime glint that happens when characters push up their glasses? Or a more realistic in setting variant?

I think there would be something rather poetic about a mute girl entrapping people in illusions with something sound based. Now, a wind based one is out because it's already been done by what's-her-name the Sound girl, but a stringed instrument is still fairly novel. There is a Japanese violin-esque small bowed string instrument that I think would be good (Kokyū - Wikipedia). I think something closer to a violin in function (the Kokyu is apparently played in a manner closer to a cello, with the instrument vertically sitting in the lap) would work better for the whole dynamic ninja fight thing though.

Anyway, vote change:

Well, after doing my Googles and looking up the instrument in question, I'm pretty sold on it. It seems like exactly the kind of thing a mother who sings would have her child pursue while they danced around not unlocking her chakra and letting her meet her demon half.

Also, imagine the jam sessions.

Well there is a song I think would also be amazing, but I won't use it until later.

calling the vote in 4 hours.

Also, I'm going to be doing a roll for an omake, If you want to roll for that, you can come to the dice room to see it.
