If Haru is planning to be the Champion someday, then he needs to be able to work with the police. I don't want him to start a habit of avoiding law enforcement.

Why the hell are guys voting for leaving? We are the Champion's apprentice. It may be our first day on the job but cooperating with the police IS our job.
 
Slowpoke has not changed how much I'd want to be a psyker. The only difference is that now I want to focus on illusions to see where that takes us.

Im doing this because rose is an amusing/interesting character thatd id like to see for a bit longer.

I think someone in discord mentioned that she might be freaking out and us leaving her behind might not be good, but i dont exactly remember.

Aside from that im not sure if its known that we're Cynthia's apprentice and we're already on our way to maylene who we should tell about this regardless.

Edit: there was also something about how the police would probably make us put our pokemon back in their balls and how that probably wouldnt be good.

If he's going to one day be the Champion he should get used to working with the law enforcement. Give them the information and let them do their job while we go and get stronger.

The author wouldn't just introduce introduce a portrait character just to never use her again, she'll reappear. And, she us a "Super Hero", she came, she battled the bad guys and she's gone. Her story beats are done for the chapter, she'll come back when she is needed and we can play the 'Government insider friend to the Hero' trope...thing.

Besides, maybe it's not well known that we're Cynthia's apprentice, but Violet knows were we are and she is known as Cynthia's secretary.

Even if I want to go and continue the purple protector plotline. It is important for us to tell the autorities. Even if we are gonna get thrown in a cell for a bit of an interrogation. It may not be the best start, but showing we are willing to work with them will help unless they are corrupt.
 
The main point I've gotten from this quest so far is that we really need to get our hands on a psychic for our team.

Violet, Rose, criminal grunts, random(?) street performers. Yeah we're really the odd one by missing out on them. Honestly, given what Haru mentioned about growing up near a population of Ralts/Kirlias, I half want him to pick one up when he gets back to Pastoria City. Who knows, might even be an old friend. Though I wouldn't say no to an Espeon either. That one's even pink, which we just learned is the color of heroes.

Rose is probably right, but our work here is not yet concluded and if we stay, we can give Purple Protector more time to escape.
