Welcome To Your New Life 3
Learned to Communicate: You may lack a voice, but you learned Shinobi hand signals from your mother. Rolled: 77
Your mother never rested when it came to learning Shinobi signs. "Ayako, these signs must become second nature for you." She stated.
You nodded your head as your fingers started to sign. 'I… now, mum.'
There was a sharp whack, the bamboo stick struck your fingers with practiced ease. "No… Do it again. Get them right." She stated.
Every day was the same routine when it came to learning how to sign. Read words from a book, sign them to your mother, get them wrong, feel the pain of bamboo, sign them again, master the phrase, and continue on to the next one.
It has been that way since you could control your fingers. Almost 5 years and counting.
You rubbed your fingers and glared at her. 'It hard for me.' you signed.
"It is hard for me." Your mother stated as she tapped the bamboo stick on the table, causing you to flinch. "You may lack a voice, but will beat proper grammar into young lady." Your mother replied as she pointed to the words on the paper in front of you. "Sign this phrase."
You concentrated on the paper and your fingers danced through the signs. 'I am Ayako Kurama of the Hidden Leaf.'
Your mother smiled and patted your head affectionately as you smiled. You got it right!
"Good work. Now, onto the next phase." She ordered.
'Yes, mom.' You signed back.
It would continue like this until your mother thought you learned enough.
Reward: Konaha Sign (Mastery) You can now 'speak' to any Konoha ninja and Kurama clan member with no difficulty.

Spent time with Your Grandmother: Your grandmother's shadow was strange, and she always used big words you could never understand. But her stories always captivated you, and her words of encouragement and her restless pursuit of making you do something creative made her amazing to be around. Rolled: 64
Your grandmother smiled as you watched the shadow. "You enjoy watching my shadow, don't you?"
You nodded, allowing your own smile to answer for you.
Your grandmother shook her head. She was very old you knew that, but seeing her eyes gaze upon you made you realize that she was ancient. Her red hair was now a ghostly white, and her eyes seemed weighed down by something you do not really understand. "You know that my shadow is just a Genjutsu, right?" She stated. "And you can break through it."
That confused you., your head tilted in confusion. The word was familiar, and you have read it a few times, but everything else seemed foreign to you
Your grandmother laughed. "Oh I know your parents haven't taught you about how to activate your chakra yet, I am going to respect their wishes by not teaching it to you until your ready."
'Why do my parents think I am not ready?' You signed.
There was a pause as your grandmother translated the signs you made. Then she frowned. "Do you know our families Kekkei Genkai child, or have they hid that from you as well."
Hid? Why would your parents hide something from you? And what was a Kekkei Genkai? You nodded 'No grandmother. What does that mean?'
Your grandmother frowned. "Hiding it from you...My daughter really didn't learn from her mistakes." She whispered under her breath, thinking her voice was low enough for you not to notice. She then looked up. "Have you ever looked yourself in the mirror?"
You nodded no.
Your grandmother than shook her head. "Oh forget it dear, I'm just an old woman thinking about the past… Would you like to see my shadow dead?"
You nodded yes, and your grandmother's shadow turned back into a human shape. It was just like yours… only you saw something else. A tiny little mound on her shoulder with little horns.
"Now… Let me tell you a story dear." Your grandmother started, her eyes misty. "A story about when your mother was a child."
Reward: Curiosity.

Dream: Every time you close your eyes, you see something familiar. A person that you always wanted to see. Rolled: 11, 99, 100
When you went to sleep, you thought you were in a nightmare.
You were in a desert, a place filled with wind and sand, it's very air choking you as you tried to breath.
Then the sand moved, your body fell to the ground, and you saw a wave of sand close in towards you, to bury you.
"Do not worry…" You closed your eyes for a moment then opened them. You were now in your family's dining room, with another strange looking women sitting across from you on the table. "There's nothing to be scared of here." Her voice was soothing, familiar, like your mothers. But the women looked so strange.
Her skin was much whiter, like a person painted on by white paint. Her hair was fierier than the subdued, almost blood red that your hair was, and her eyes, though they seemed so intense and focused, were relaxed, like the rest of her body.
"Who are-" your hands went to cover your mouth. Did you just speak?
"Who am I?" The women spoke. "I'm just someone who got lost, and regretted far too much about things I was not able to do, instead of taking pride in the things I did."
"What?" you asked, not understanding a word she just said.
The women smiled. "Don't worry, you'll understand when you get older."
"But why are you here?" You asked, still trying to get used to the fact that, you indeed had a voice.
"I'm… just helping you." She replied.
"Why would you help me?" You asked.
"It's the right thing to do." The women replied. She then waved her hand. "Sit." She offered the seat across from her.
You took the seat suspiciously, but when you did, you finally saw what she meant. Memories saw through her eyes flooded into your mind.
But it did not hurt. In fact, you realized who was in front of you. "So… I'm-"
"Yes. Thou are You, You are Thou, a spirit reincarnated after death to live again." The women...Your past life stated.
You remembered everything. The missions, the joy, the thrill, the failures. The faces of old friends, the tools of the trade, chemistry, math, science.
It was almost too much, your brain felt like it was going to fry until it stopped as suddenly as it began. "How?" You whispered
"Do not worry about that. I needed to show you that the contents of your mind were being regulated by me, to prevent your mind from becoming a vegetable, and you die from overload." Your past life stated.
"So… what does that mean?" You asked.
"The memories will slowly start to meld into one another until your memory and mine are inseparable." She stated.
"When will that happen?" You asked.
"Not for a long time I'm afraid." Your past life replied sadly. "But at least we met each other, on good terms and without any damage to your mind." You felt her hand on your shoulder. "I will help you as best as I can in your dreams and your thoughts. You have my word."
"What do I call you?" You asked hesitantly.
"I used to have a name, in my previous life. But it has no meaning to me anymore, because you are the life I care about." Your past self asked. "You can call me whatever you want."
Reward: Memories of a Spy unlocked, they will slowly blend into your own.
