We don't have to destroy the fey, though. We could do some monster hunting instead.
Or you could also convince the fey to move. You have three choices in total.

Or force them to convert to proper Greek citizens. What? One of our hero's basically married into our nobility. Might as well be cosmopolitan about it.Or you could also convince the fey to move. You have three choices in total.

Huh. We've got ourselvesOr force them to convert to proper Greek citizens. What? One of our hero's basically married into our nobility. Might as well be cosmopolitan about it.
Hereditary sounds best to me. It's a good thing we kept Argurios alive now that he's been humbled a bit.[X] Accept the deal. Receive gear forged by Hephaestus himself to slay the woman in the mountains, and in return a forge will be erected for the God of Smiths.
Excellent. We get He-Man a bona fide forge-on-earth within our holdings, no doubt capable of building truly grand works, that will also double up as a holiday dacha/doomsday bunker for the man when he's sick of greek god assholery.
All for the price of (receiving) epic tier arms and armor. Perfect. Whether we bribe or attack the fey I dont really care, though I'm wary of war... field battles are risky and we could lose it all in a couple of ill advised votes. The eco way is slower but safer.
By the way @thread, what do we want our political system to be? Because if you all want a hereditary monarchy, we could do worse than starting one with Augurios. He's slowly turning into legendary founder material, is married with a Latin, and his kids are destined for greatness... not too shabby for a legitimacy-giving "founder" hero king. He's been tempered by his experiences.
Especially considering Isidorios wont have any heirs... unless we want another system of goverment.

So a hereditary executive branch and Republican Senate with low-level governors appointed by local voting? If we go that way we need to have a sort of city council to back him up. Not out of having any irl concerns for democracy, but because it would be a way for our subjects to present us their grievances beforey they blow up in our faces, and also keep information blackouts and groupthink somewhat contained. Would have to have lesser power than the king though, perhaps one third of Hypheria's power (in very abstract terms) compared to the admin power held by thr King and royal administration. A sort of Paternalistic Monarchy.
I think Caesar is a pretty cool guy. Eh becomes Emperor and doesn't afraid of anything. Then we get rid of the monarchy, establish a kind of democracy that is an oligarchy, and wait for a character named 'Caesar' ...
Could we have a mixed pantheon? Like we would have Gradivus as our War God, and Hephaestus as God of Craftsmen etc.@bigbow, Gradivus actually hasn't shown his hand at all so far, only during the marriage of Semni and Argurios, as he is the one presiding over these things.
The one who keeps meddling is Culsans, who has portends, beginnings, endings, gateways, fate and time as his domains.
We're probably gonna piss off the Fey, but it's probably worth it to get a start on getting some decent weapons.
Probably best not to tell Hephaestus you consider his creations to be merely decent.
Indestructible gear crafted by the God of craftsmanship. Do we get to keep the gear during and after his quest?
