I don't know if we can choose what Exalted we'll be. The initial vote choice seemed to imply Dragonblooded, but some dedicated posters looked underneath the underneath at Tenfold's posting patterns and believe we'll be Abyssal.

Either way, I'd like to achieve the friendly god project.

While I doubt things will be so simple, I would like to practice the Principle of Double Effect here. By which our mean, our goal should be to gain our own freedom and freedom for others, not to cause loads of death of soldiers. Our actions should be done for good reasons, even if there is pain that comes with it for us or for others.

I'm surprised there isn't any like stolen idols from like the Realm and old Shogunate chained up and bribed with Lookshy shrines and rites (maybe Gaia for dominion over all Creation?).

Also, fuck man they can't even sing? What do the soldiers set the beat for them with "songs" like John Tibeats in 12 Years A Slave?

Maybe we could engineer a God of Anti-Slavery if we made a humongous cult and made lots of deals for Investitures to get a Spirit of our choice (which may be us; we can have a Sidereal make us a God) to Essence 8-9, and bind it beforehand with a geas to always work for freedom?

We did choose the Divine Path, and this would be an appropriate endgame for a dedicated and powerful Exalt. It'd also probably be the most relevant change we could do, since this Spirit would have access to Yu-Shan, and so could work with / coerce other important Spirits to end the circumstances leading to slavery.

There is a God of Abolition.

He is getting constant Audits on behalf of the God of Slavery and other Guild affiliated Gods to make sure he never gets to actually do something.

Okay, so what we need to do is replace the Guild with a non-slavery org and kill the shit outta the God of Slavery / Raise the Cult and Essence ratings of this God of Abolition to the level that nobody short of E9 Gods or Incarna can gainsay him? Sounds like a nice endgame Motivation to me.

Does he have a tolerable disposition (ie: no raping kids or blighting beautiful women for giggles)? I'm sorry about asking you to do the research, but I don't know which book he's in and also don't possess either Games of Divinity or CoCD : Yu Shan.

I'm loving it so far, but the despair fest is starting to drag a bit. I'll stay with it as far as it goes because I love Exalted, but I hope it moves on from helotry is terrible soon. Unless helotry being terrible is the whole point.
