So thousands dead and all Defiance is going to do in the long run for us is make enemies of the Imperium's warriors, for example how are we going to spin any mutation as being okay with out Chaos to Space Marines by looking like Vandire2.0 by preaching what is Treason in way. The Emperor himself said mutation was not a point in anyone's favor and their have been others who have seemed to have the Emperor favor even when put to the test who have fucked with them so they at the very least will not trust us.
Also how the Hell is one Sector with out any support from the rest of the Imperium going to survive if a bunch of the bugs decided to eat us. Breaking completely with the rest of the Imperium just means that we will get overwhelmed when anything of any real power decides to come for us and any who comes with us. The only thing that Defiance will gain us is a weaker humanity overall which is going to make it easier for the enemies without to strike. All has anyone thought about our philosophy, because it is one thing to say that a Psykers are regular humans and you don't like how many are treated, it is quite another to have a solution to the all the ways a psyker can fuck everything around themselves six ways to Sunday. If we had gone with Philosophy we would have spent so time figuring out how we could do things better and explaining our position. Instead of going that some mutations are not bad things because the person is clean of the taint of chaos on the inside when the when weather the mutation has nothing to do with the Dark Gods.
@TenfoldShields I want to ask what your issue is with Inquisitors of a Puritan mindset because that designation covers a bunch of mind sets and most of them are not stark raving mad like those of the radical sects of the Inquisition. Also how in the world do you and Imrix plan to get the support of the any of the Titan Legions to fight loyal Imperial soldiers let alone support us if your goal is to just creat a tiny state that will get eaten by the next Ork Warragh to come tearing by. Plus how do you plan to get the Sister behind such a plan.
@Imrix I fail to see how GW rewriting the lore so that the Tau for example have won all their fights instead of losing at all by handing groups such as the entire Raven Guard the stupid ball, is evidence that we could keep an entire sector safe with just regular humans lead by or cardinal. For example how would we keep the Sisters equipment stocks up if we have no support from the ADMECH. Going small is only going to get us destroyed.
I am not trying to restart anyargument, I just want to put my thoughts forward on a vote I missed and point out the consequences of the choices. I would like to point out that the Blood Angels Primarch hated being a mutant and that his sons were cursed with the Red Thirst because a small part of him liked the spilling and even drinking of blood. He also purged every mutant from the surface of Bail Secoundus with sword and fire while he was still a kid. The fact that their primarch was a mutant and that they suffer the red thirst and can suffer the black rage because of what he was and what happened to him means that they do not look kindly on mutation of any kind. Still if there is one Space Marine I would like to see the QM write it is the living legend that is Commander Dante. Plus he is someone we would need one hell of an argument to convince and if we could convince him to be an ally we would have the most revered living hero of the Imperium on our side. So I guess Defiance is good in the sense that it gets the Important people in the Imperium to look our way.
@Maugan Ra I want to ask where we are in relationship to the Blood Angels home world and if they would become involved if we cause a big enough up roar?
