Amateurs study tactics, those that wan to be masters need to study logistics.

Bureaucracy vote is kind of a landslide here, and I'm not too worried about that, but I think there's something to be said for being really good at our main thing rather than good at a bunch of things. Ultimately it's not bureaucracy that will push us through when we're tied to a stake in front of a conclave of Inquisitors, or speaking to a conference of the sector Adeptus Terra, or planetary governors, or Imperial Navy officers. OTOH in narrative terms this seems an entirely reasonable time to boost bureaucracy since that's what we're grappling with here, so whatever.

Going for the angel because I just really like the aesthetics and thematics of imagining Ignatius standing next to this huge, weathered, gothic statue. A tiny figure standing next to a vast, ancient edifice which has endured the aeons.

If we really wanted to rustle the jimmies of the more conservative factions in the Ecclesiarchy, and quite possibly get whatever the nearest Blood Angels Successor Chapter is nearest to make a beeline for here, we could also make the point that Sanguinius was a Mutant. Which he was. Like, that's unambiguous.

Given that in the Imperial Faith he's basically Kung Fu Action Jesus, tending to be celebrated far more frequently than the other Primarchs because of his final hours of heroism and sacrifice, not to mention that our world is named after him, that would be be an effective point to make, I think.

We're a cardinal, not a general.

The 2nd highest religious holiday/feast day in the Imperium is Sanguinala, behind only the Feast of the Emperor's Ascension.

The angelic thematics of this resonate strongly with me, thus, of course, my vote for the giant stone angel. On his wings, maybe Ignatius can dream of a better world and future to help his people reach towards.

Mainly because I am a sucker for ossuary churches. They always look so darn cool and simultaneously incredibly contemplative and a bit foreboding. In other words, they fit right in with the Imperium's style.

I feel that improving our skill at war will be vital later on in the quest.

If any 'verse ever needed an Exalt's bullshit bureaucracy powers, it was the Imperium.

War is not actually limited to tactics.

In our case training War can give us the ability to quickly train any rabble into elite soldiers, it can heal our army from exhaustion and minor wounds after a victory and a lot other options that matter on the strategic scale n for logistics.

Especially replacing trained and experienced soldiers at a rate that usually only produces barely trained levies is incredibly valuable in the larger picture of conflict.

We've got the basic "yeah man don't shank us" charm down now, so I'm thinking we get cracking on working our way into being able to unfuck things without needing a Crusade.
