Hmm I suppose...damn it, sort of invalidates the best parts of Smoke Knights...welp back to the Mammoth!

I like this plan and I want to vote for it... but is it just me or do we seem to be missing one of our background choices in this plan? We only have the Knight Errant one and then this plan goes right to the deed without choosing another background.

magic kung-fu is tempting, but it's no match for a griffon.

I'd be far more tempted with the Kung-fu option though if it included a griffon, mystery boxes are interesting but it's hard to top cat that's also a bird. Or any other impressive monstrous creature would also be good, but griffon seems like the most obvious when you're the sister of Karl.
 
You can pick up monstrous mounts in play, but it won't be easy and exotic mounts not native to the Empire will be... difficult to acquire.

Although Karlchen was a poor student of foreign arts, the monk, whose name translated to Unfurling Iron Lotus, began to teach you many mysteries, like how to meditate upon a spinning leaf and harmonise the rhythms of your body with the turnings of the world. Then he learned what sort of girl you were, and abandoned those lessons in order to teach you much more important things: the fitness regimes and meditations necessary to make your body like unto a steel edifice, sufficient to shatter a stone block with your naked fist.

@Swordomatic you may have said something about this before but what is your stance on the End Times because that seems like something that is going to become extremely relevant given the time frame we're playing in.

I'm gonna pretend it doesn't exist and do my own thing. While I'm not as into Warhammer Fantasy as I am with 40k - if only because I know 40k that much more, and basically have to build back up from scratch for WHF - I do know that End Times is even more of a steaming turd than what Gathering Storm is doing. And boy oh boy do I loathe Gathering Storm.
 
Gathering Storm is fine. Really the only big questionable (and only questionable) thing is Primaris Marines.
 
I'm gonna pretend it doesn't exist and do my own thing. Good to know! Although I have to ask what interpretation of Bretonnia are you using, because I've seen many different ways of presenting it.

On the plus side there was just an announcement that the Sisters of Battle are finally getting plastic models and a new codex.
