[X][TOW] Take undertow any quarianvessels Malan identifies as salvageable or reparable.
[X][LINE] Oh, no. Oh, hell no. You recognize the opportunity? So will the Rachni! There's still that huge fleet that came jumping to Hades Gamma outthere, floating aroundfree and uncommitted! You're one jump away from what must be a massive fleet base in the Caleston Rift! And those Rachni forces in the Hades Nexus?Where are they going to retreat if they decide that they can't holdtheir system, hm?Through here. Andwho's in the way of all those fleets? And all that's not even tomention how vulnerable Attican Beta is at the moment. No. The Terminus Alliance will just have to wait. You cannot hold this system.

[x][TOW] Comb the wreckage thoroughly to remove everything you can tow or scoop out of space from the field of battle.

I just thought of something. Could the ships involved in Salvage Operations speed up the time by adapting their shields into a sort of ram scoop instead of manually grabbing everything, and then depositing the debris at an enclosed station with a three to ten word descriptor of the ships that were in the area? Or os the shield tech here still too primitive for this kind of modification?
It may never be refined enough to do that; kinetic barriers aren't that precise a thing unless you're talking about a sapient using biotics.

I'm just talking about what is essentially a parabola projected outwards a couple dozen meters, and thrusters. The biggest concerns there would be power, and shielding from inadvertent debris.

Not if we wanted to look for survivors in that ball of wreckage, methinks
That might be the best point, though I'd assume this was used for chunks of smaller debris, not areas where there might be sealed sections.

Do we have any idea how big the fleet in the Hades Nebula is?
Er, did you mean the Hades Nexus? The one from which the quarians just escaped? Or Hades Gamma, the cluster Beshkar hit?
@PoptartProdigy if we choose one of the most thorough salvage options, how would be doing it? I'm assuming we're gonna prioritize things, but what those things are isn't too clear.
You'll prioritize salvageable vessels.
@PoptartProdigy Would 'tow what can be repaired/salvaged, ID the rest of the Quarian wreckage (per option 1, but can probably be more rough and ready) and nuke it rather than scooping it up' be significantly faster than option 1? For a similar tech-denying outcome.
You'd probably gain a few minutes that way, sure.
@PoptartProdigy, will we be able to retreat without engaging the Rachni if their fleets arrive from the Hades Nexus or Caleston Rift? (If you can't say, just give me Mira's best guess) Also, we're evacuating the damaged ships at the same time as we're searching the wreckage, right?
As long as you drop what you're doing and run, sure. And yes.
@PoptartProdigy
If we do withdraw, will Mira leave behind some units to conduct some scorched earth tactics and destroy the rachni's infrastructure in the cluster before completing our withdrawal?
Remember, you already detached cruisers to do just that. They won't be able to do as thorough a job, but they're doing what they can. They'll withdraw when you do, though. Too easy to get cut off otherwise.

Definitely too primitive.

Did Citadel government make knowledge of our broadcast public? If yes I would really like to see an interlude from our parents POV.

@PoptartProdigy so I assume if we survive the rest of the arc we can get a chance to research Quarian barriers tech?
Well, we'll have a bunch of quarians, who presumably have barriers on their ships, so yes?

I guess the real question is, why are quarian barriers special at this point in time? I don't recall.

So, neural interface with asari operators?
I'm pretty sure there's no way to amplify mass effect fields generated by technology into an extension of a biotic operator's own personal mass effect fields.

Well, it's (presumably) several decades of war-driven parallel research by a significant galactic race. They may at least have some decent refinements on our decades-old designs.

I think Poptart mentioned that he is a very old Batarian by now.

With the 140 year average Batarian lifespan mentioned in chargen, and having been decades since we had contact, and our age being 170... could be quite a melancholy piece.
