Okay, just to sum up:
We are Argent Shroud offspring, the conventionally good guys.
We reinforce the crusade in the Jerico Reach.
Our Abbess is a combat monster with some forbidden lore.
This is the Roboutean Heresy.

Turn 1: Founding
Turn 1: Founding
Your blade catches the servitor's blow as its mechanical claw is nearing your throat. Without pausing you strike with two hands, the sword's power field piercing through the seven layers of armor plating to reach the control circuits. The red priests won't like it but you don't care. Combat servitors are made to be thrashed and you doubt the Astartes you share this fortress with are gentler than you. The blow strikes true and the massive amalgam of flesh and circuit falls down. You have not the time to taste your victory, a platoon of ranged cyborgs arrived and force your squad to take cover. The runes of their position blaze in your helmet even as your vox crackles to life letting a masculine voice fill your ears.

"Our count stands to a hundred and thirty two Abbess." You are not sure how but you hear the smile on his face as he boasts. First you don't answer and gaze upon the image of the battlefield transmitted by your helmet. Your hands speak in the sign language of the Sisterhood defining your tactics. Soon, you burst from your cover, las bolts crashing harmlessly against your armored plate. Soon you are in close combat and your swords reap the mechanical monsters like meat. They were but twenty. Not near enough to threaten you or a marine. A blazing icon confirms there are no more foes in the area and you beam through the vox.

"One-hundred and thirty-four, Brother-Marine." You look at the numbers for the whole forces. "It's a draw thanks to the Emperor." Fascinating. You hear the scowl in his silence. You can understand it. Janus is a Word Bearer and as such has some distaste for the Imperial Cult and all its defenders. To have his Deathwatch contested by what he considers a band of zealots must rankle him fiercely. You respect the Angels of Death but you would prefer if they showed the proper devotion to Him on Earth. Still, it's nothing. Defending the faith of the Imperium is your task and as you leave the training area, noting the performance of your sisters, you swear to the Golden Throne you will be worthy of the great crusade you're in part in.

You are Asteria Maharani, once a Canoness of the Argent Shroud, now by the grace of the Sisterhood and writ of the High Lords of Terra Abbess Minoris at the head of your own order. In high places it was decided that the worlds of the Jericho Reach, newly discovered and in the process to be reconquered by the Imperium were in need of spiritual guidance and help in the physical reconquest. For this your force who once served directly the Inquisition as escorts of prominent Inquisitors and keepers of their fortress was strengthened with several hundred of Sisters from different branches of the Argent Shroud. Integration was not difficult as the Adepta has less idiosyncrasies than the Astartes or even the Imperial Guard. To your surprise you weren't affected to a newly founded shrine-world but to the Watch-Fortress Erioch, seat of the mighty Deathwatch and keeper of the Warp Gate that links this sector of space to the domains of the Emperor Beloved of All. More surprising still, the Fortress is considered as your Convent and you are beholden to none. Reading the writ of office redacted with all the care the Admnistrati can manage, you realized you are considered as a full part of the Crusade and thus can intervene as an individual force of Space Marines can.

Of course as your time in the Inquisition has taught you, "beholden to none" and "doing what you want" are two different things entirely. You are expected to listen carefully when Inquisitors require your aid and while the devout souls of the Imperial Guard will listen to you, generals will ask the strategic value of the mission before committing troops to your help. It also pays to be gracious to all factions of the Imperium, even the Adeptus Mechanici of doubtful faith.

As for the Jericho Reach, you would say there is no worse hive of scum and villainy, but you have served near the Eye of Terror. Still the Crusade is fighting Tau, Tyranids, Chaos-maddened rebels and there are even rumors of Necrons. The only things lacking among the innumerable pests that infect the galaxy are the Orks and you are willing to bet a Space Hulk or two will appear in the sector sooner or later. You don't understand why or how but Orks are present everywhere and where they don't have bastions they come soon.

And of course, like in all the Imperium these dark days, the sector is ablaze. As you leave the training area, you see on your pict-feed, mentions of a dozen calls for aid, demands of reinforcements, live reports from a hundred battlefields You are called to battle. But first you must organize your forces and ascertain their capabilities

Choosing (choose 1)
Palatines: Servitors: You will find your commanders and officers by pitting them against the art of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Palatines: Astartes: You are in a Deathwatch fortress. Why not provide your sisters with the greatest challenge of all? Yes most will be struck down in direct combat against the Astartes but you will find skill.

Specialists: Even in this Fortress, you need to organize your order according to the Sisterhood's dictates. (Seek candidates for vacant positions)

Quite necessary, without running forge, doctors and spies all else is useless.
Faith alone will only sustain us for so long.

[X] Bolt

Pretty random, our willpower is high enough for the start, everything else should follow.
Since we didn't take any highly specialized order we might as well go for allrounders.

[X] Watch-Commander Neferou of the Thousand Sons

Learning something about the local boss. Who might even be nice enough to tell us something about the Inquisitor before we meet them and make any blunders.
