"Feel free to leave a message on her profile saying she is a precious cinnamon roll"

*Cough* You are a precious cinnamon roll. Continue being buttery, cinnamony goodness.
Is your name by any chance a worm reference?
    Aleph
    Aleph
Not in the slightest. I had it first, I've never read Worm, and I never mean to.

@Aleph is the intersection of the All; it is the conjunction of all space and all time and all knowledge.

She also tends to flense people who annoy her and raise them as her slave-bound undead servants, armoured and armed in screaming ceramic.

Not that I would know anything about such a happening.

I see. It was kind of a long shot anyway, but one can hope.
alif trusts your instincts for king snek when >:(

    >writing this good
    >being this preoccupied with actually doing what she wants to
    >not writing trusts your instincts *right now* because a dude on the internet demands to
    >the fucking nerve

(i actually came here to thank you and appreciate you for all the nice writing and order you bring to this place together with @EarthScorpion)
Hi Aleph! Have you thought about using the collaborative threads feature in Of The Stars? It took me a while to notice that ES had posted his latest Omake.
I AM NOW MOVING TO YORKSHIRE

You poor lass. Going up north, where they dive into abandoned coal mines to fight the strength to fight the thousand spider-young of Margaret Thatcher.

You should stay south of the Watford Gap. It's the only way to stay safe.

And in unrelated news, stabbing-related injuries in Yorkshire have increased by 400%.
    I HAVE RETURNED TO BRITAIN

You just spent like, three messages saying "time zones are annoying and weird".

    I find this incredibly amusing.

Look, I have a much better "time zones are annoying and weird" story if I want to get into that topic. Ask me about Chicago-to-DC sometime. /This/ was a "long plane rides are annoying and tiresome" triple-post.
    Chehrazad
    Chehrazad
Chicago-to-DC sounds horrid, I am intrigued now.

Tell me the secrets of your magical time zone adventures oh mysterious Aleph!
    Washington DC is very hot~

I have also been to New York (loud and humid) and Boston (cold and windy). And visited @LilithPrime (fun!)

I'm locked in Denmark currently. I envy you. :C

At one point I'll envy you so much that I can move across the ocean by sheer force of envy and reach you there.

    Some point anyways.

:) You think DC is hot. :)

I'm content if it drops below three digits here.
Hello Aleph! I recently discovered your Bioshock quest CUaLG, and basically sat down and read through it in one go. I see that it hasn't updated it a few months, and I was wondering if you've dropped it, or if it's on hiatus of some sort?

Thanks for getting back to me! Good to see I have future Rapture shenanigans to look forward to X)
I played a lot of Bioshock, so I know the basics and the settings, but I know absolutely nothing about Nanoha. Should I give it a go, considering how much I enjoyed CuaLG?
    Aleph
    Aleph
Sure! Watch the first three episodes or so of Nanoha and you should be good to pick up Game Theory - the first in my Nanoha series. Or you can just hop right into Of The Stars if you feel like some Sailor Moon. You can find the links to both in my sig.

As SV's resident expert on Exalted, what are your thoughts on 3E mechanics-wise? Usable enough to run a campaign with, or does it need errata beforehand?
    Aleph
    Aleph
Hah! I've got a fair amount of Exalted system experience, but I'd rate @EarthScorpion, @Revlid, @Jon Chung and @Shyft all at or above my level. That said, I don't like 3e, and neither (to my knowledge) do any of the above. It reduces the impact of lethality, which was a major problem in 2e, but I find it clunky, pointlessly overcomplicated, less interesting in setting and fluff content and very poorly produced.

Charm bloat is worse than ever; most of them boring dice tricks. Combat takes even longer than it used to. Entire subsystems are missing. ST burden has increased, with many mechanics being "make something up". Combinational hell has become even more hellish. Glaring flaws like the xp/bp divide have been left in despite the fresh start. There hasn't been enough proper playtesting. The devs are awful at PR.

All in all; Not Recommended. You can have fun with it, but the same goes for a blank sheet of paper where you make up all the rules yourself, and that won't cost you thirty bucks (or sixty five if you want a physical copy).
Yes Virginia, there will be more Power Games. *writes furiously*

Oh hey, It's finished and has an Epilogue? I'll have to read it now....

Does this mean that 'To the Stars' will start getting updates now?
Well, I went ahead and took the plunge! If you get a chance, let me know how much I effed up in citing to you. @_@
